Folks we are very sorry to announce that this Saturday's PPW event is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control. The Village of Mundelein has stated that "PPW's scheduled event for Saturday is considered an expansion of a legal non-
conforming use". PPW COO Randy Ricci has spent the last two days trying to negotiate any way to hold the event. There was simply not enough time for even a temporary permit and he was told this afternoon by the village attorney that "if PPW runs the scheduled event Saaturday Mr Ricci will be personally arrested". The company needs to schedule a series of hearings to expand our occupancy permit. This should be a matter of 4-6 weeks and in the meantime the PPW training school will remain opened as it complies with the current zoning statute. Very sorry for any inconvenience and disappointment this may cause. It really is currently beyond our control.

Man its really f'd up! As u kno this is our 4th event in the same venue. On 9-24 the village re vamped all zoning laws. Even though we got our initial inspection on 7-18 and were approved, we now have to go through a series of hearings to comply with the new ordinances. We are approved for training and getting the permit expanded wont be a problem but,it flabbergasted us really good for tomorrow.

OK, two quick things. 1) We ask that posts keep within the page Terms of Usage. Specifically, images and text should keep within the boundaries established by the sage Maxim Magazine; if you dont see it there, dont put it here please.

2)As this board involves the discussion of Chicago Wrestling, often various personalities in the Chicago wrestling scene will be brought up. Occasionally, they will be criticized and even insulted. Everyone in the business, including local workers, bookers, and other folks, is allowed to post on the board. But the simple fact is that they will be held to a different standard than the fans who post to this board. They are open to a level of criticism that other posters are not. As they are people in the public eye, one hopes that they can handle some negative feedback now and then.
