What's the problem Foxrot? So many indys and so many of them calling their main title the world title. Perhaps its a gimmick for the casual fans. Explain why you call yourself a Fox?

Why so defensive? If you call it a world title, please list all the countries it has been defended in. Just because some other Indy does something, you should automatically do it too?
BTW, I'm not a fox, Foxtrot is the name of my favorite Album, Foxtrot by Genesis.

Not defensive here, just trying to explain how the belt itself is a gimmick as are the wrestlers and everything involving what comes into putting a wrestling show together. Just because it says WORLD TITLE doesn't mean it has to travel various countries. Remember Pro Wrestling is not a LEGIT sport, it is a show. Perhaps companies such as POWW name it a world title because to the casual fans attending the show it makes the belt sound much more prestigious thus increasing its importance and interest to the fans attending so that when there is a title defense it means so much more. Make sense? I hope so.
Think in terms of wrestlers. Let us use CM Punk for example, CM stands for Chic Magnet but does he have to be a real chick magnet in order to use this name? No its a gimmick, correct? Is he really a chic magnet? I have no clue but that doesn't matter as long as he does a good job at portraying himself as one. Then there is Jimmy Blaze, is he really blazing? No he is actually a decent heavy weight that does not blaze but the name sounds cool so he uses it and the fans of POWW seem to like it. I hope this helps.
On a final note a company probably wants its WORLD CHAMPION to sound much more important when they carry that belt to the casual fan who doesn't smarten up through internet resources. If the belt said local champion it would probably make fans think the guy isn't so great and just a local scrub that could never hang with the guys working on TV. This would cause a loss of interest which is not good if your trying to generate money.

Galatic Grappler has the most interesting gimmick I've seen in a while.

I have to agree with foxtrot here. It peeves me when someone calls their title a "World" Championship when it hasn't even been defended out of the tristate area, let alone the country. Its the same as when someone calls their title a "Heavyweight" Championship and then allows Rey Mysterio to win it.
On the positive side, I Love tourneys and I love the galactic grappler character.
My guess for the finals is Kanoa vs Whoever wins between Craig and Malaki.

How about a TV Champion when the fed is not even on TV? The World Title gimmick does not bother me because that has been around forever and everyone sees it for what it is. Same with these "$10,000 Battle Royals". Does anyone believe that stuff?

My guess for the finals is Kanoa vs Whoever wins between Craig and Malaki. I was going to go with Kanoa/Crossing, but your guess makes more sense.

WORLD TITLE IS BOTHERSOME?
IT IS THE TITLE TO OUR WORLD,NOT ELITE,AAW,PCW,SHIMMER..ETC.OUR WORLD.
IN NO WAY DOES RICOLO ANNOUNCE CHRIS CAIRO AS THE USA WORLD CHAMPION.HE SAYS POWW WORLD CHAMPION.
HOPE THAT CLEARS THAT UP
