I'd also love to see Marshe Rockett get invited into the tourney.
Also, even though he's not so nice to Americans, "Prince" Mustafa Ali would be another good invite.
And it would be great to see Mike Quackenbush, especially since he wasn't able to make last year's event to defend his 2007 TPI win.

As the title reads, somebody already let the cat out of the bag before we could announce this the way we wanted to (with a revised lineup), we are moving the TPI this year to September 4th and 5th. With so many guys not being able to make it to this years tourney, we decided to post-pone the event until we could have the very best in indy wrestling.
As you know, Dragon gate is also running Chicago that weekend on the 6th. This way, fans can come in and enjoy TPI and Dragon Gate as well.
We are currently working on a revised lineup and will have a FULL lineup announced this Saturday in Joliet.
For those of you that have purchased tickets......
We will still be running June 5th and 6th in Joliet. We plan on still having a big show (just not TPI status). If you cannot attend the rescheduled date for TPI, then you can still use your tickets and receive the money back (exp: for both nights, tickets will be only $25 each. We will give you the remainder back in a credit or refund.) If you would like to keep you're already purchased TPI tickets and use them for the rescheduled date in September, then please let us know via email at rottenwife@aol.com. If you can not attend TPI and wish not to attend June 5th and 6th, then a credit or refund will be offered to you.
We hope you see why we had to change the date and reassure you that it will make the tournament better as a whole. We believe what we have for June 5th and 6th will be outstanding.
Stay tuned for lineups for June 5th and 6th, as we will be putting the cards on this board later tonight.

Do DGUSA and IWA-MS have a working agreement? If so that would be cool to see DGUSA guys in TPI. DOn't think I'll have enough $$$ for both shows though.

No, I dont believe so. DGUSA and Chikara have a working agreement, but not IWA. Smart move by IWA though. I'm sure there will be a lot of people coming in for the show that will want to make it a fun weekend of wrestling.

It might be a smart move due to the number of people in town that weekend, but for me it sucks. I'll have to choose which show to spend my $$$ on and although I've enjoyed TPI in the past DGUSA will be getting my $$$ tht weekend.

Yeah, we were days away and there wasn't a lot of hype for this one. Now they have some time to re-tool the lineup and sell some more tickets, which is what they need to do anyway. I don't like the idea of holding this on Labor Day weekend, when so many are out of town, but at least this sets up a big weekend w/ DG USA and RAW on Monday.
