Pro Wrestling Phoenix Presents: “Open Contract”
April 11, 2009
Council Bluffs, IA
“The Rebel” Jeremy Wyatt issued his open contract for a PWP title match, which drew practically the entire roster out to the ring. A huge brawl quickly ensued, with everyone fighting to try and sign the contract - Wyatt then dove over the top rope onto everyone! Just then, with the contract lying in the now empty ring, Tony Cortez ran in from the back door, and quickly signed on the dotted line, securing a shot at the PWP Title for later in the evening.
1) “The Knights of Fire” - Jaysin Strife and Vic Victory retained their PWP Tag Team Titles over Ricky Kwong & Jimmy Rockwell, Zac James & Preston Maxwell, and Mark Sterling & Brett Young in a four team elimination bout. Afterwards Brett Young and Mark Sterling issued a challenge to the Knights for a two on two match for the titles on May 16th - the challenge was accepted!
2) Stephen Saint defeated Mike Sydal. Saint seemed a little upset that fans still cheered for Sydal, despite his defeat.
3) Donnie Peppercricket got a count out win over Joey Daniels when Joey walked out on the match.
4) Zach Thompson beat The Yellow Dog, by pinning him after tricking him into playing dead.
5) Chris Havius defeated Ryan Slade.
Donnie Peppercricket came out and made it official, on May 16th, at PWP’s 4 Year Anniversary, it will be Donnie and Joey one on one in PWP’s first ever STEEL CAGE MATCH!!!
6) “The Rebel” Jeremy Wyatt retained his PWP Heavyweight Championship over “Babyface” Tony Cortez in an outstanding bout!

“The Rebel” Jeremy Wyatt vs. Payday Patterson for the PWP Heavyweight Title!
Joey Daniels vs. Donnie Peppercricket in a Steel Cage Match!
Jaysin Strife and Vic Victory vs. Mark Sterling and Brett Young for the PWP Tag Team Championship!
