With a little imagination, the NAPW "brain trust" could have made that rustic Compton venue as famous as the ECW Arena. Another boring community center won't set the promotion apart from the crowd.

Howie, too bad you aren't in Compton. A piece of waste sitting in a dump.

I love the wide-open countryside. Too much wrestling is in stuffy, boring urban venues.

I'm really saddened to learn that this was cancelled. I was looking forward to this. Anyone know why they cancelled or if this venue will ever entertain the idea of hosting another wrestling show? I've never seen an event take place in a country setting and wanted to experience it for myself. Someone will be brave and forward thinking enough to try again, I'm hoping. I'd like to thank NAPW, Compton, the farm owners, and the fans for allowing the first show to happen. I'm sorry that I missed it and sorry that there won't be any more shows.

We ran 2 shows there, and the draw did pick up on the 2nd show very well. But as a business standpoint its just not a venue were gonna sit on. The distance being one factor, were hoping Elgin, Schaumburg and Elburn become our main points of interest. As far as the venue itself goes, they will keep busy with there concert series they hold there

Thanks for the info. I hope that those areas are good for you; none are too far from me so I hope to check you out soon. Were the farm/barn owners good to work with? For me it'd be lots of fun to run things out of my own barn like wrestling, concerts, and anything else that interests me.
