Wow, they finally put this out. For those that remember him, The Great Maliki is also in this movie wrestling the main character. They filmed a good majority of this at Congress Theater. Very weird crew of people. And the little 8 year old boy was a diva.

We can only imagine how a "Randy the Ram" vs. "Leo the Blue Lion" match would have turned out!?!

I remember all the negative posts regarding the casting of fans for this. Fun memories.

If you haven't seen it already, my Pro Wrestling Pick features the "Fancypants" movie premiere in Chicago. You can check out the article at: southtownstar.suntimes.com/entertainment/virtusio/7783634-452/pro-wrestling-pick-fancypants-premiere.htmlAlso, if you haven't seen it already, my latest Pro Wrestling Extra article on my Elaborating on Entertainment blog includes the "Fancypants" movie premiere on 9/29 in Chicago. You can check out the blog article at this link, where I hope you will leave a comment: blogs.southtownstar.com/entertainment/2011/09/pro_wrestling_extra_fancypants.htmlFeel free to pass along the link to others who you think might want to share their comments about this topic. A few notes about using the "Leave a comment" feature on the blog:-- While there is a field asking you to provide your e-mail address, that e-mail address will not be shown to the public once your comment is posted -- The grey Captcha box sometimes trips up people because it's hard to see and very particular about the characters being typed in exactly. To be on the safe side, you should copy your text elsewhere before hitting the Submit button in case the Captcha kicks out your comment. -- If you've used the "Leave a comment" feature correctly, you'll get a message saying that your submission is pending approval. Note: I approve all non-spam comments as soon as I see they have been submitted.
