In just over one week AAW returns to the Berwyn Eagles Club for “Point of No Return”. In the coming days we will look closer at this big event starting today with the main event. AAW HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE- 2 OUT OF 3 FALLS ( C ) w/ Val MaloneVSThis match could be one for the ages as the AAW Heavyweight Champion Silas Young puts the title on the line against “Unbreakable” Michael Elgin in a 2 out of 3 falls contest. In this match you have the incomparable champ in the midst of his second long reign at the top of AAW against arguably the fastest rising star in independent wrestling today. Back in January Elgin pinned Silas clean in the middle of the ring in a tag team match. This earned him a title shot in February at Bourbon St. The match was closely contested with Elgin using his combination of brute strength and uncanny agility to give the champion all he could handle. It was only thanks to the interference of Mason Beck and Val Malone that Young was able to yet again escape with the belt. Last month after Silas had successfully defended his title against Louis Lyndon, Elgin hit the ring and said since the two men were now even at a fall a piece it was time to settle it once and for all in a 2 out of 3 falls match. The arrogant champion quickly agreed and now the stage is set for this epic main event. It will be the seemingly unbeatable champion against the unbreakable challenger. Something has to give Saturday night April 21st in Berwyn. www.AAWrestling.com

Today we’ll take a look at the second title match scheduled for this Saturday night in Berwyn. AAW TAG TEAM TITLES ( C )VSJimmy Jacobs and Arik Cannon are not the most cohesive unit that AAW has ever seen. In fact they are not even close. Since winning the titles from the Irish Airborne earlier this year and successfully defending them twice Jacobs and Cannon just can’t quite seem to get on the same page yet they continue to win. Many wonder how long before these two former arch rivals are back at each other’s throats but they will have to co exist yet again on Saturday night as they defend the AAW Tag Titles against Joey Eastman’s “NorthStache Express”. Since Eastman united these men in his fight against Truth Martini, Darin Corbin and Marion Fontaine have quickly found success in the tag team division and now find themselves with a golden opportunity at “Point of no Return”. Their offbeat antics often throw opponents off their game but they are facing two grizzled vets in Cannon and Jacobs. Is it time for a changing of the guard in the Tag Team ranks or can Cannon and Jacobs continue their unlikely run at the top? www.AAWrestling.com

Continuing the preview for this Saturday nights big AAW “Point of No Return" event, today we take a look at a much anticipated return encounter. REMATCHVSLast year Shane Hollister was on a roll. He had come back from a serious leg injury and captured the AAW Heritage title. In February of 2011 he faced Davey Richards at 115 Bourbon St and after a long hard fought battle Hollister picked up the biggest win of his career. Shortly after that match however Hollister’s career went into a bit of a tail spin and he has now shown a cold and ruthless side in his feud against Gregory Iron. When Davey Richards was booked for his AAW comeback he demanded a rematch with Hollister. Jim Lynam and Kevin Harvey were quick to change up the card and remove Dan Lawrence from his scheduled bout with Hollister and now Richards not only has a chance to avenge his previous loss but also beat some respect into the brash young star. This Saturday night Shane Hollister has a chance to prove he can once again not only hang with the man some call the best in the world but also come out victorious. Expect a hard hitting battle when these men once again meet one on one. www.AAWrestling.com

wow the daveyrichards v.s shane should be an overly heavy kickfest w/ questionable psychology. Corrected. This is a rematch. I did like the first one, but Davey's kicking and kicking is wearing thin with me. If he wanted to kick a lot, he should go to Robbie Gould's house. AGREED!!!
