With them doing 1,200 a show in Chicago do you guys think they will look for a bigger venue for this one? Its probably going to be the best Chicagoland show this year

No way. They never do bigger than norm shows for ppv. They would rather do a sold out 1200, than a half filled venue of 2500 imo. Plus they won't want to spend money on a larger venue. For arguments sake here are the 2015 attendance figures.... www.rohworld.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=4348

I feel they could maybe do 1,800 with all the NJPW guys coming in but I don't know anywhere that can hold that many unless the Congress Theater magically reopens

NJPW star and Bullet Club leader Kenny Omega is expected to be brought in as a semi-regular for ROH this year so he'll probably be here

"We noted earlier that the 5/7 ROH Global Wars PPV was doing great business. We heard from a source within the company that they have already moved over half the tickets for the venue in Chicago and are well on their way to an advance sellout. If you want to go see the New Japan/ROH combined show live in the Windy City, don't delay getting tickets at ROHWrestling.com"

Looks like only $80 tickets left now.
Correction: Some GA/bleacher tickets at $30 available.
I may stay at home. Might be cheaper on PPV.

The Ring of Honor-New Japan Global Wars tour is already proving to be a huge success. ROH announced today that the tour's New York City date on Friday 5/14 at Terminal 5 has sold out. The 5/8 Global Wars PPV in Chicago Ridge, IL has under 100 tickets left as well. There are tickets left for the Monday 5/9 event in Dearborn, Michigan and the Saturday 5/15 event in Toronto. Observer:
The next ROH PPV show on 5/8 from Chicago will be headlined by Jay Lethal vs. Colt Cabana for the ROH title, IWGP champion Tetsuya Naito vs. Kyle O'Reilly, TV champion Tomohiro Ishii vs. Bobby Fish and tag champs War Machine vs. Mark & Jay Briscoe. The holdup on the complete card is they are still hoping that Katsuyori Shibata and Kenny Omega will get their visas in time for the show, but the odds are against that happening.
Lame. Enjoy Shibata a lot.

They are going straight for the Cabana/lethal match huh? Only because the next show is in Chicago I bet.
