Does this show draw anyone? The website looks like it was built when dial-up was common.

The sheik and lord humongous? Is this an 80s legends match? It's THE SHIEK & LORD HUMONGUS so you know they can't get in trouble for stealing gimmick names. Nothing says great wrestling like names incorrectly spelt on purpose or to avoid any copyright issues. Also calling someone Catgirl to avoid any Catwoman issue. I wish someoen could get footage of these shows. I'm positive World Famous Flea Market would absolutely love to see anything from this show or an older one.

I implore all of you to check this show out. From Steve Kenton screaming for no reason, to Dave Nelson doing whatever he does, I am absolutely fascinated by this company. The Carny of this show brings me back to my childhood watching guys like Ric Flake, Big Rip Dudley, STINGray, and so many more.
Check out my favorite wrestling related video last year featuring this company. I love at :53 in the camera man goes out back to inform Dante DVS that he was just announced.

I like The Misup Brothers a lot, who own this company. Kind of has a Jack Pfefer type style of promoting.

Sonny,
I'm so happy you made the Pfefer reference. That's exactly what this is like. I'm not sure if you know Tom Burke, but he has a wrestling museum in his house with all of the old Pfefer programs and posters. This stuff is amazing. I love the stories of him and Tony Santos going at it out here in Boston.
I met Stockdale at an AAW show years ago. Seemed like a nice quirky guy. This show should be seen by everyone. There is something to be said about the carny little companies that no one knows about. He should definitely be distributing this stuff to the masses. He's make money off of it

The Pfefer Stories are Gems. I know Tom Burke, good guy. Terry Scholl had a poster from one of Pfefers events he ran at The Chicago Coliseum in the 1960's.
Nick The Bruiser, Hobo Brazil, Gorgeous George Grant, Bummy Rogers, Bruno Sanmartino, and so on. Pfefer would fill up a building using these bogus names while the fans thought that they were seeing the real thing. Around the 2nd or 3rd match the fans knew that they were had. By the time that happened, Pfefer was on his way to the next town. Don Fargo in his book had some good Pfefer stories. The late Bob Til in 85 or 86 did the best Jack Pfefer type promoting at Romeoville HS with " Drill Sgt. " Slaughter as his main event vs The Iran Sheik. Drew over 1000 people and Woody Wilson who looked a little like Sarge was Drill Sgt. Slaughter and after about a minute the fans knew that they were had. Till had his promoters license suspended by the then IL. Wrestling Commission and was up on Criminal Charges from the State. Ugly and Messy.

I love these old carny stories. Up here we have Lobsterman. He doesn't run any more, but his shows were gems. Some of the best pay days too. He promoted wrestling in 3D, and sold those cardboard glasses for an extra 2 bucks. He then put a strobe light above the ring.
I love stuff like that.

I heard of Lobsterman. The Sterotypical type Promoter who smoked or chewed on a Cigar from back in the day. I miss them but the stories of them all will forever live on. Always some good Nick Gulas stories out there. Of course in the old NWA Detroit territory it was a 2 or 3 times a year occurrence that " Captain Eddie " who was The Original Sheik's ( Ed Farhat ) son would get robbed, rolled, mugged, whatever you want to call it as he would be taking a walk in Downtown Detroit to Deposit the Box Office Receipts and Cash at the Nearby First National Farhat Savings and Loan Bank. What unfortunate Luck that Captain Eddie had. Of course upon hearing the news of the Box Office $ being robbed, Sheik E.F. told the boys that he would have to mail them their peizoffs and Trans $. When Jack Brisco was The then NWA Champion during one of the rare off weeks that the then Champion was given, Brisco went to his bank in Atlanta to deposit a bunch of payoff checks he received and the teller told him that one check was not endorsed. Brisco told the teller he didn't even have to guess which check it was. The payoff check from Sheik E.F. from a Detroit House he did a week or so earlier. It took Brisco over a month he said for Sheik to finally endorse the check and return it to him.

Although I Missed The First Half, The Double Main Event Was Impressive With Incredible Ramifications Leading Into CASW's Future.
