I'll post my review in a little bit, running late on my NFL picks for the week. They had probably near 200 people there. Got to the venue at about 6:45, decent amount of people in the eagles club already. No BS "Berwyn law" of no re-entry like AAW, already a nice change from the normal. Crowd was reminiscent of AAW from 2005, lots of families and older wrestling fans. Show finally starts around 7:15 or so. Roy Flash Gordon vs Bobby Brushall (pretty sure that was his name). Decent match to start, never hit the next gear or anything but nothing terrible by any means. One highlight was a dive spot to the outside where this fan named Randy was walking by with two cups of beer and both guys go crashing into him! I think flash won with a kick or something, 1.5/5. Backwoods Brown squash segment was next. He took out Ricky the Janitor first in under a minute and next took out Earl with a huge slam. He demanded referee William H Macy count to 5 for each fall. 1/2 /5. Next was Dale Patricks vs. Weapon Next Logan. Was hoping Dale was in a deathmatch like last show but that wasn't the case. The guys never really hit their stride in this one. Dale was DQ'd after a Jimmy Jacobs esq shot to Logan's head. 1/5 Next was Vic Capri vs AAron Williams. These guys really went at it, hard hitting and some super cringy head drops. The match went the 20 min time limit and the fans chanted for 5 more mins. Another draw. Next show will be 2/3 Falls no time limit. 3.5/5 Intermission was at this time, after coming back from a walk around the block and a chug of iowa's finest, me and the boys headed back in. They had some of the roster in the ring singing happy birthday to a little girl and sunny gave her a cake. Classic indie segment right there, place felt like it was 2003 again. Think next was a multi man tag match: NWOrds vs. Heart throbs vs. Ben Mccoy and Cucky Wild ( ) I was tasked to do the eagles club double dare course at this time, so I can't really give this match a rating. When I came back to my seat after completing the challenge I saw the heart throbs won. Next was Shogun Logan vs Jay Bradley. This one was your classic big man slug fest. It was a little drawn out but they gave both guys a good chance to show what they had. 2.5/5 Main event was the midget deathmatch. Sunny was "sick" and was "puking all week" so she didn't want to get into the ring at all, yeeesh. There was probably like $100 thrown into the ring by the fans so the midgets could staple them onto eachother. Fun shitshow to end it all. They're setting up for a tag match next show, which i am going to try my damndest to politic into a double death elimination fans bring the weapons match. 2/5 Overall a decent time. This wasn't your AAW crowd at all, but they were pretty hot all night into the action. Breath of fresh air to see some kids enjoying the show and yelling ridiculous sh*t to the wrestlers. I'm tempted to go to the next show if i have nothing else going on that day.

Did you see the Articulator's Dodge Astro Van parked in back? He had betamax tapes of The Bodydonnas greats matches loaded up to get Tammy in the mood.

I wonder if Tammy was truly throwing up all week. I hear the Articulator is into that insane fetish.

Sadly I was unable to copy the poster for some reason. But it looks like a cool women's matches next month as well as a guest that still wrestles. Tracy Smothers will be in town to back up his daughter, Jessie Belle

I don't know who put that there.

1 show with an expensive meet and greet drawing 200 is successful? i'd say so, what are they really putting into the show? There's no rent to pay on the building, they own the ring and most of the guys are probably working for little to nothing. Looked like a way bigger house than last show. I echo Nightfire, I'd go to this over Fake Kaiju any day for the price. After talking with Randy at the real Kaiju Big Battel, I think their first "monster match" will be their last LMAO.

200 for an indy show is great, the formula works using mostly local talent and bringing in 1 former superstar people want to see each month. It was not very expensive only 15 to get in and it was only 30 bucks for the picture/autograph combo and 10 for each additional autograph. Pro Wrestling Tee's will charge 20 per autograph no matter how many you get, they won't give any discounts if you buy more than one.

Why are people comparing this show to Kaiju, they don't run head to head, these shows run head to head with AAW, so that is the choice you are making by attending BCW over AAW. BCW could have run on Friday or Sunday to not make the fans have to choose which which show to hit but looks like they are ramping up the Saturday night wars, I didnt check to see if the next show is head to head with AAW but maybe this is their strategy?

Next show is the 27th, which is also kaiju day. Might be the reason theyre being compared.
AAW probably had near 600 last night, 200 at the eagles. Wrestling is doing great over here still.
