There was some rumour going around that TPI was cancelled. IWA shot it down and says the show is still on for the 28th and 29th. That is all.

Well, this is shaping up to be like 2005 all over again, with the numerous cancellations shooting a hole in the show. I think this will turn out good, and the Jacobs vs. Taylor and Nigel vs. Claudio will be more than enough to make it worthwhile.
Tornado vs. Kingston screams STYLES CLASH. I have a bad feeling Rave vs. Abercrombie will die live.
Still, they'll miss Sydal and Generico.

From the IWA board...
Jimmy Rave will not be at the 2007 Ted Petty Invitational Tournament. He has been replaced by Ricochet. Here is the new first round match due to this change.
Ricochet - 2nd TPI appearance (06) vs. Josh Abercrombie - 2nd TPI appearance (05)

I can live with Ricochet over Rave. Rave is vanilla. Rico gives you a reason to boo him when he blows spots. Seriously, he has gotten a lot better.

How was Quack vs. Roc? Their match at Insanity Pro Wrestling's 2006 Super Junior Heavyweight Tournament last September in Indianapolis stole the show and was awarded match of the year. It also led to Billy Roc being booked in Chikara's Young Lions Cup. Then they had a rematch a few months later at IPW's Civil Disturbance show, but it didnt' really live up to the hype due to Quack being injured and Billy Roc being sick. But, from some of the results I read, it was a great match and a great show overall last night.
