First point: The word is "you're" as in "you are" as opposed to "this belongs to you" which is the "your" you used. Second, ROH attracts one kind of fan, VWAA attracts another kind of fan. We will both do well. I have competed head-to-head against ROH before in other promotions and had a good turnout. Third, the word is "then" as in "at that point" as opposed to "than" which means "in other words" or "as opposed to". Finally, to quote a pretty good movie, "Stupid is as stupid does".

I didn't like that movie, Steve. Other than that, you did a nice job with the English lesson. Maybe you'd like to teach my classes one day. ;D Hope to see you in Lansing. It's always nice when a show is close to home.
Starman has spoken.

Besides, we were already up against ROH back in June when we were at Calumet City, & the crowd we had was immense, actually surpassed our expectations. As it is, this is my league. I could care less what ANYONE else does. Vince didn't get where he is by saying,... "Oh no. There's a WCW show Saturday night. We'd better cancel." This is business, and we certainly mean business.

Starman, I appreciate the offer. However, my major was music education. I have substitued for English classes as well due to the nature of my certificate, but I also know my limitations. I will be in Lansing as well so we will meet up there.

Well you had a point. If Vince or Bischoff had been afraid to run up against each other we would have never experienced the greatest period in wrestling, The Monday Night Wars. Now obviously two indy feds running against each other is nothing like that but you can't be afraid to go up against the competition. If you want big rewards you better be ready to take big risks.

would love to see the indy, but your stupid to try and compete with Ring of Honor on the same night. mabye if you postpone the event till next week, than you will have a bigger turnout OK Barry to bring u up to speed there has been numerous occassions in which wrestling company A and wrestling company B in the Chicagoland area ran the same night against ROH and in each situation both companys including ROH drew well. ROH and companys like VMAA, PCW, WCPW, AWA SLAM, POWW, POWERHOUSE, etc. have entirely different fan bases and though i do not mean to insult ROH there are thousands upon thousands of wrestling fans in the Chicagoland area that don't have a clue about ROH or what they are all about because Barry if u have not noticed Chicago is the 2nd or 3rd largest population based city in the USA. Barry u honestly can't believe that a 1500 seat building such as Frontier Fieldhouse represents EVERY PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING FAN in the Chicagoland area i guess u can compare your comments to taking a shot glass of water out of Lake Michigan and saying that u emptied out the lake.

The card on the 15th of September is as follows.
The main event will feature the final qualifying match for the VWAA tag-team championship tournament on 10-13-07 in Crown Point, Indiana. The last two positions were filled by Baltazar & Abaddon; NIGHTBREED, & the opposing team, shockingly putting their recent differences aside, is THE DEMON OF DAMEN, ATLAS & MAD DOG IVAN MANSON. Atlas & Manson have put their personal differences aside to try to attain VWAA tag-team gold, as well as settle certain scores with both members of Nightbreed. These are four of the toughest men in the indy scene and promises to be a battle that will not soon be forgotten.
Studd Muffin J. J. Valiant is forcing his groundskeeper MICHAEL LOPEZ into yet another match to further the gardener's, and aspiring wrestler's, humiliation. This time out, Studd Muffin has chosen none other than THE INDIAN DESPERADO, SQUANTO to accomplish his dirty deed. Squanto is between a rock & a hard place with the signing of this match.
THE SENSATIONAL C-RED & DYMOND have put out a special challenge to OVIRLOAD & THE AMAZIN KUAN (or TEAM K.O. as the fans have dubbed them.) Apparently, C-Red & Dymond have signed an open end contract to wrestle and they have chosen the team they wish to debut against. Will "Team K.O." accept the challenge?
THE 80'S ICON, VIGILANTE (yes, we're still calling him that!) is set to face newcomer BACKWOODS BROWN. Not much is known about Brown other than the man never cracked a smile during his entire VWAA board interview and ended his meeting stating, "The South will rise again!"
ISAIAS VELAZQUEZ is teaming up with VWAA newblood SAMURAY DEL SOL to face VWAA fan favorite, super-hero tag-team NEXT WAVE. Next Wave is undefeated in the VWAA and is a strong team for Isaias & Samuray to compete against in their tag-team debut. To add pressure to this match, it is also the second to last qualifying macth for placement in the VWAA tag-team championship tournament.
There will also be a battle royal. The winner will enter the VWAA Circuit Tournament at our Toys for Tots show in December
The VWAA hopes to see everyone there at the Knights of Columbus on the 15th. Remember, its an earlier start. 6pm bell-time. Tickets are $10, but of course, our chicagoprowrestling.com promotion will get you in for $5. Come to the gate with "I LOVE CHICAGOPROWRESTLING.COM" printed somewhere on your body and get 1/2 off admission.

Thanks! We loved Cal-City too. We're trying to get the approval to be there in 2008 for 4 shows. And if you ever want to take a look at Industrial Studio, come see a house show. We're actually having a house show on 9-29-07, but we're going to try something a little different on this one, as far as promotions go. The final decision will be soon, & we'll let the message board know as soon as possible.

LNN will most likely broadcast this event several times throughout the fall. LNN is known to replay their broadcasts at all different hours. This means that exposure of the VWAA wrestlers and their fans will be seen by almost all cable residents in the Lansing / Lynwood area.
