AS STATED BEFORE AND FROM THE COMMENTS, AAW FANS ARE NO GOING TO GO TO GALLI SHOWS. ALSO THE LAST TWO GALLI SHOWS AT THE ODEUM, WAR RAN THEIR SHOW ONLY A MILE AWAY ON THE SAME NIGHT AND IT HAD NO EFFECT ON THEIR CROWD. THE TWO COMPANIES ARE DIFEERENT AND HAVE THEIR OWN FAN BASE. I BELIEVE BACK IN FEBRUARY GALLI RAN A SHOW LESS THAN A MILE AWAY IN CICERO ON THE SAME WEEKEND AND IT HAD NO EFFECT ON AAW. I THINK GALLI RUNNING IN BERWIN IS BECAUSE OFTHE FOLLOWING THEY HAVE IN THE CICERO AREA AND NOTHING ELSE. I totally disagree. AAW has a large neighborhood walk up every night. Berwyn is a very Hispanic neighborhood and when they see Lucha is running down the street, they are going to go. I just hope this does not turn into Midlothian.

Honestly, I really think a lot of people dislike lucha libre for reasons I do not know. I’ve been to many GALLI shows and liked all of them. I really think that chicagoprowrestling boards are mainly made up of American style wrestling fans, with that said obviously there is going to be bias. Also, there has not been many effective lucha libre companies in Chicago with the exception of GALLI, this company has been showing everyone that they are really trying to change peoples minds about lucha libre. Just because something happened at the Midlothian does not necessarily mean that the same thing is going to happen in Berwyn eagles club. I don’t think all the negativity towards GALLI is going to stop them from having shows there. It’s a free country anyone can have shows wherever they want.

While it is a free country, you have many holes in your argument. I'm not here to insult anyone on this situation but I am going to shoot from the hip about this and hopefully all parties will wake up and realize that this is stupid.
Tony started AAW. He ran the Eagles club. Whe Tony was in charge they did anywhere form 60 to 125 people. When Danny took over Berwyn became the big thing in the area and they started packing the eagles club upwards of 250. Now that Tony is in with galli, they are going to piggy back off of the success that the aaw has had at the eagles club. I think it is pathetic and I hope that galli fails miserably and I also hope that the eagles club house goes down for everyone just like it did in midlothian. You guys are all only hurtning yourself because you all have an axe to grind with each other. You should all grind it by out drawing each other instead of competing each other.
Take a lesson from Jimmy Blaze why don't you. That guy has been sh*t on since day one and he just shut his mouth and did his own thing. He out draws almost everyone at the gate on a consistant basis.

Riddle me this.. Who F'N cares? blah blah blah who's wrong, who's right? NO one cares. ITS A BUILDING! NOT THE MECA OF WRESTLING GODS PEOPLE! Lets talk facts. Tony made AAW plain and simple. sure it wasn't much at the time but nevertheless he made it. Danny took it and changed it, for better or for worse. could go either way. but the fact is Danny would have nothing at all if it weren't for Tony making it in the first place. If you wanna go to a AAW show, then go! If you wanna go to a GALLI show, then go! either way WHO THE F*%K CARES!? blah blah blah AAW blah blah blah GALLI blah blah Midlo. Blah...blah...blah NO ONE CARES!
SMILE FOR ME!!! HEehehaaha

Honestly, I really think a lot of people dislike lucha libre for reasons I do not know. Lucha Libre is a style of wrestling that's completely different than wrestling in the states. To many, the differences can be oft putting because they don't understand the differences. I don't really like lucha for the most part but I do like watching the matches every now and then.
