The only real logical thing to do is state on your flyers and any promotional device that is used that you ARE backyarders. If people come to watch after that, it's their time and their money, and it is a free country.
I think the majority of the argument comes from un-be-knowist fans coming to the show and thinking that all "Indy" wrestling is the same way. In return, could give other promotions (all 75 of them) in the area a chance to actually make money due to some people not wanting to see shows that are backyard, and more along the lines of a professional show. As long as you publize yourself as what you are, there really shouldn't be that much of an issue.
There are some shows with trained guys on it that are just as bad as a backyard show. Another problem that stems from this, is if someone gets hurt due to a stunt that is a little more advanced, newspapers and other media devices WILL lump ALL wrestling into the same catagory, thus hurting everyone involved.

Andy Anderson will be giving out free hugs to anyone who graduated that afternoon from UW-Whitewater. That's better than any discount.

Mizzidle? wait what? ohh ohh, ohhhhhhhh I get it, your trying to use carny. Because one time you over heard that real guys in the biz use that.
You asked people to look at your site and give feedback. While, yes, mine was on the sarcatic and negative side, you never said "only positive feedback". Now, if I noticed this trend of dark clothes, metal band t-shirts, and Hot Topic like clothling line on everyone who has a profile, how many other people at your shows will think that? I'm sure I am not that only one.

Why not just called it the Hot Topic Wrestling Federation?

I have a positive and a negative to throw at this:
The Negative - Evil Mindz Wrestling? Guys seriously, I know this is a hardcore fed but that is really uncreative and kinda yard.
The Positive - I am no way, shape, or form a fan of Hardcore/Death Match tournament, but I swear I would buy a ticket to see Stumpy in a Death Match. You will draw double for that and I am betting half the tickets sold are area workers running the the match in delight of what could be the most entertaining slaughter in the history of wrestling.
P.S. - please don't kill the boy......as previously begged by a past poster
