No showings very close to my home, but there rarely are exclusive showings of any movies near my home.

Haha you're acting like using "marks" isn't ridiculously common nowadays? Come on, kid. Nobody uses the term 'marks' anymore. It's as outdated as secret handshakes and hotlines. I refer to myself as a mark mostly and am proud of it. All of us Chicago Pro Wrestling Message Board members are marks, no offense intended.

Don't say you weren't warned in advance! Just kidding. One Hour Tees posted this on their twitter page: "Tomorrow at 12pm central time cmpunk meet & greet tickets go on sale. If they sell out first day, we may add additional tickets + a walk up option."

I'm still confused about them selling out. The guy I wrote about on Wrestling Classics before who is not from here said it was because of great promoting like a billboard and advertising through Pro Wrestling Tees. Huh? Could that be? I went to a couple of appearances and Pro Wrestling Tees and turnouts were small.
The only other things that I can think of is that he mentioned is that this is a new era of promoting. They created a web series called Being the Elite on YouTube, which has hundreds of thousands of subscribers. And millions of viewers. He also mentioned Hot Topix. Another poster replied to me that Pro Wrestling Tees has 45,000 followers on Instagram.
Are they right about these things? I don't belong to any of these groups and don't know enough about them to know if they would contribute to a sell out crowd.
I'm used to the local promotions that do basically zero promoting, don't draw, and don't appreciate the free mentions that many of our posters write here.

I am really out of touch. Colt "Boom Boom" Cabana? When did he change from "Classic"?

progresswrestling.com/ I never heard of this group. When I posted on the Wrestling Classics Message Board that there are 5-10 wrestling shows in the Chicago area each weekend as it is, another poster replied, I bet they will sell out, or come very close to selling out the day tickets go on sale. Seriously, they came to the US last summer and drew huge turn away crowds. And Chicago was one city that has clamored for Progress the most. Again, sorry I missed this first post about the show. When I informed my fellow Wrestling Classics poster about Cicero Stadium, he made a little change in his story from "And Chicago was one city that has clamored for Progress the most." to "That's a perfect size venue for their promotion."

I live in Oak Lawn, IL and liked it when they ran in very nearby Chicago Ridge. I'm getting too old to drive to Villa Park and then get up at 5:00 for work tomorrow, lol.
Any chance that they will sell out? Just curious.

Is David Lagana someone who I should know? Sometimes I'm out of touch.

A photo of me and Dusty popped up today on Facebook. I can't believe that this was 8 years ago.
This was one of the best events ever. Dusty was cool with everybody and then after the signing we had pizza and Dusty answered questions.

Still no local advertising for this event (and an appearance at Pro Wrestling Tees) as far as I can see unless you look for it first which defeats the purpose.
This lack of advertising reminds me of many local promotions.

I don't know how this store makes enough money having been there.
They must do huge mail order business.

I wonder if the wrestling show and this event in general will be held in the parking lot?
There is a Chicago Red Stars event being held there on June 23rd. I never heard of the Red Stars before but it looks like they are a women's soccer team.
