I dont think Sydal and Shelley have earned a shot for the Midwest X-belt. I think they need to have a #1 Contenders match 1-on-1 to determine who faces the champ. todd

Y'know, a few months ago, I was hoping that the Midwest X-champ would get a shot at the TNA X-title, but that was when the champs were Sydal and Joe respectively. Now that it's Jaysen Strife and Christopher Daniels, I'm less enthusiastic about that idea. But it still might be neat at some point down the road.
I wonder about Joe vs Skullcrusher. The closest thing I can think of that I've seen is Joe vs Tank, which wasnt that hot. But I still have hopes that this match could be really fun. And it'll be nice to see Boz again.

The rudos teams in the main event looks weak. I mean, I've never seen Principe Azteca II, so I could be wrong, but I dont get a good vibe. I definitely dont like Reo. So put Infernal in the third rudo spot. He works really well with Discovery and Frankie. (wait, that is Infernal, right? I've never heard of "Arcangel Infernal", so I'm assuming that's two different guys even though there's no comma there. On the other hand, I've never heard of any of the other guys in the tournament either.) Wizdoom is back?! I think more wrestling promoters should use the phrase "Also most likely appearing..." todd

Well, not the Kong I was hoping for, but it's something. Maybe they can bring in Mississippi Madman to be her valet.
And I like the fact that Malia Hosaka is (seemingly) a regular part of the roster now. Since it seems unlikely that we'll ever see Peggy Lee Leather at a SHIMMER show, at least there's some veteranation. Leilani Kai wouldnt be a bad idea either.

Eh, I was just thinking of what "competitors from overseas" I would want to see, so I thought of Aja Kong. Then I tried to think of who on the US indie scene I'd want to see against Kong, and I thought of Mickie. So that's why I brought it up. Because I thought of it.

Todd, bad stip or not you would have to be at the shows to understand why it would work and why it led up to the blindfold match. Okay, but that still doesnt explain why it's not called a PRINCE OF DARKNESS match. todd

Blindfold match? Is that like a PRINCE OF DARKNESS match? If so, why on earth would you miss out on calling it a PRINCE OF DARKNESS match?
Granted it's one of the worst stips ever, but it has a cool name. The only other stip as bad is Scaffold match. Y'know what would be fun? Yeah, you know where I'm going with this: Prince of Darkness Scaffold match. Guaranteed worst match ever. Possibly among the shortest, too.

Steve Boz vs Daniels and Baltazar vs Abyss? How did I know I could count on WCPW to book a card that I didnt want to see? Maybe next will be Petey vs Mike Anthony.

Jaz vs Daniels might get me to a WCPW show.
Fontaine vs Abyss might be fun, too. Maybe Abaddon vs Petey. Dameon Dunn vs Monty Brown? Yeah, that card might just do the trick. Oh, and Boz vs Reign. There ya go.

What were the results?
Personally, I dont care if they're the same wrestlers all the time if they're Principe Franky, Discovery, Gringo Loco, and Espectrito.
Though it would be nice to see more Dorado, Infernal, Fuerza Aerea, Fuerza Aerea Jr, Poder Boricua, Maleficio, Holy Terror, Caudillo, Golum, and Azteca de Oro Jr. And Rudy Escobedo, if he's still in town. And Martin Escobedo if he still wants to punch dudes in the face.

When I see Marek's name spelled "Marak", I imagine that it rhymes with Barack Obama's first name.
