Listen up kiddies....one of the biggest nights in Chicago Sports History was when Bobby Hull got his 50th goal at the Stadium. This was before the NHL got to be the watered down league that it is now. There were literally thousands of people outside waiting for him and he signed every single person's program...piece of paper...whatever. He signed until everyone was satisfied. It took hours and he did not moan or b*tch or charge a cent. That is why he still is a class act. To have to pay somebody big bucks to show up and to charge for the autograph and then have the person b*tch about it simply rubs me the wrong way.....so ends my lesson the the day...

But that is my point...everyone rips off everyone else to a certain extent. It is the nature of the beast.....hell, I ripped off "Pete The Pup"...but it does not make me a bad person....

Ben...to use your term...it's wrestling...you can screw the wrestlers...rip off gimmicks from each other...lie...cheat and steal...why is Elite exempt? Your concept was the first of its kind? You have to lighten up on this a bit.

Just what we need...another fed in which spokes people crap on the fans...guy asks a simple question and he gets dumped on...that will cause the fans to drive to the next show......

For what it is worth and then I will let it go because there is a lot of going back and forth as to the purpose of a poster....but about 30 minutes ago, my son had four guys come in for coffee before going to school. The four are NOT wrestling fans. They are all around 21 years old. My simple question was..." by looking at this poster, do you get the impression that Hulk Hogan will be at the show?" Simple question. All four said that by looking at it, the impression that the poster conveyed was that Hogan would be at the show. When I said that Hogan will not be there and his picture on the poster is to show that he is a sponsor of WAR, they all said that the poster was extremely deceptive. These are four college guys. I do not think that Joe Fan is going to dissect the poster to read small print to determine that Hogan will not be there. Again, to have the"sponsor" get that kind of coverage on a poster for am upcoming show ..at best borders on deception and at worst is an insult to the average fan that does not goes on boards and just goes to a show......

IMO, it can only piss some people off. I can read and all of that, but some people MIGHT get the idea that Hogan will be there and they will be pissed. If I owned a fed and Hulk and I were buds, I still would not use a picture like that. I would use my own stable of wrestlers on the poster because these are the guys that are going to have to convince the fans to come back to the next show. I say that it is "borderline" misleading. To state that it does not say that Hulk WILL be there kinda sorta implies that you are trying to mislead the fans. A poster of this type is used to inform the people as to who will be performing at the show...plain and simple. ....it is not to be used to show who the sponsor is. Some feds have the sponsors on the poster, but they do not have them be the highlight of the poster. Yet, on this poster, Hulkamania is in huge letters and the word "sponsors' is in much smaller type. This certainly could cause people to be misled. Let's not kid each other. So in that sense, I think it is a mistake.

Sue...take em to court...see what happens....Ben, you know as well as I do that feds have been ripping off ideas and concepts from each other since day one. You are being too overprotective...are you saying that every concept and booking idea that Elite puts out there is original?
