He should have more than enough money now. He burned Smart Mark Video and sold the library to BOTH RF and Highspots to pay for this TPI after Gabe and DGUSA shunned him. it's funny he booked the Briscoes after calling them " spot monkeys like Lo Ki who don't know how to work"(candido cup 07)

It might be a smart move due to the number of people in town that weekend, but for me it sucks. I'll have to choose which show to spend my $$$ on and although I've enjoyed TPI in the past DGUSA will be getting my $$$ tht weekend.

Do DGUSA and IWA-MS have a working agreement? If so that would be cool to see DGUSA guys in TPI. DOn't think I'll have enough $$$ for both shows though.

How soon till the "E" sends a cease and desist concerning the use of their AWA title lineage that Gagner is trying to pass off with his version of AWA?

Judge Montgomery decided that WWE had proven that the trademarks to the AWA were owned by their company and that Gagner had done nothing to even argue his case for alleged ownership, adding that he "introduced no evidence to create a genuine issue of fact" and that there would be a likelihood of confusion over the letters. The ruling has prevented Gagner from ever using, exploiting or trading on the AWA name, trademarks, logo or any other derivatives.
ummm.....

not to change the subject but, MCC is right on one thing though. When WWE won the lawsuit against Gagner he was told in the judgement not to try to link his AWA with the history or title lineage of Verne Gagne's AWA. So as it sits right now it looks like Gagner is still trying to say the AW Alliance has the same history as the AW Association which can be misleading to fans who are planning to attend shows.

Maybe there are more stipulations to the match: titles verus I thought the object of a cage match waas supposed to trap both combatants, or in this case teams, in the cage till their is a pin or submission. If the cage is tall enough to reach the rafters it will help eliminate the whole climbing out crappiness. The over the top/ through the door clause is lame anyways.
