Remember the night Jimmy pulled a Medusa and threw the iwa belt in the trash? I was there and when Hero/Claudio came out for a match, you could hear a pin drop. My friend and I were the only ones who had any clue who the Kings of Wrestling were!
Oh i member. That was my first time seeing Hero live, fn KOW unannounced in that random ass tag gauntlet too. Really fun show.
Member when the Eagles Club sold pizza during the shows? i member
Supposedly Kevin Karlson is working out an agreement to be the first pro wrestler ever sponsored by Pace. They're giving him his own bus line ALA the Lex Express, the Karlson Caravan WILL be in rantoul on the 27th brothers!
It's really hard for me to believe a show like this is worth 20 bucks. It's not a bad show but $10-$15 bucks is really where it should be. But they'll get the hipsters to flock there as usual.
I agree with you 100%. When the other big fed in the area is charging the same with WAY more special bring ins the $20 is hard to justify for basically a bunch of locals. Freelance has a killer roster but it's not $20 tier imo. But like you said, they can laugh all the way to the bank at us thrifty fuckers because the hipster money will continue to come in...for a few more years until they all jump ship to something else.
That's a bizarre reaction to an 'extra ticket' post... but now that you mention it, I am sure the Kenny and Cody crowd would be eager subs, what with all the possessive connotations that come with wearing another man's first name ending in 'y' on your chest... in all seriousness though, I have an extra ticket and don't want it to go to waste, it's not the first time I have done this (well, first time for a wrestling show) and I have only ever had normal folks reply, only weirdos think everyone else is a weirdo
Just joking brother. I think it's a nice gesture.
you and Sting aka batman will have to backdoor tmrw, looks like ill get that ticket
