Folks we have a change in the card for this Saturday. It was slated earlier that S.M. King would take on Shawn Nautilus of Team Lariat, however due to the recent Twitter rivalry and banter between Nautilus and Cornell, MAGNUM officials decided that these two men will square off against one another on 7/28 and the winner would be granted a shot at Gunner Franks and the MAGNUM title on 8/25 at the Chip Douglas Memorial Extravaganza!

July 28th, 2012 is a day that will go down in history as a historical event in the world of professional wrestling. On July 28th, ROH stars Davey Richards, Tony Kozina, and Kyle O' Reilly, invade MAGNUM PRO and bring a new level of athletics, and hard hitting style to a company that prides itself on following in the foot steps of Japanese professional wrestling companies. For well over a year now MAGNUM PRO has brought you, the fans, the BEST pro wrestling in the Omaha/Metro area. July 28th we raise the bar even higher! In a jam packed event, MAGNUM PRO brings you not just one, but two, main events. One a midwest wrestling dream match, the other, a challenge unlike any other for a champion. At the end of the night will the ROH stars stand tall and dominant, or will the MAGNUM PRO fighting athletes show the world how tough they really are?
MAIN EVENT #1: MAGNUM PRO Championship Match Kyle O' Reilly (Challenger) vs Gunner Franks (Champion)
Kyle is no stranger to midwest wrestling, or to the world for that matter. The student of Davey Richards has etched a name for himself out of the bodies he has laid out across the world. On July 28th, Gunner Franks meets his most challenging opponent yet. Gunner Franks has defended his belt twice now and he has no intentions of being dethroned just yet. Gunner Franks is chomping at the bit to step up to that next level and facing off with O' Reilly could be the stepping stone for that. With a name like O'Reilly has forged, it is up to Gunner Franks to study his opponent thuroughly so that he can be ready for whatever Kyle throws at him. Will O'Reilly look past Franks and come into battle unprepared? Will Kyle stand victorious at the end of the night holding the MAGNUM PRO title high? All of these are questions that are going thru the head of Franks as he prepares for 7/28. Can Gunner stay focused knowing the caliber of opponent is set to face off against? Will Gunner stop at nothing to make sure he retains his title? These are questions that O'Reilly should be thinking about. On 7/28 these two men will collide for the MAGNUM PRO title. Can "The Man" Gunner Franks topple the challenge of international superstar Kyle O' Reilly? Find out for yourself on 7/28/12 at the Eagles Club in Council Bluffs, IA!
MAIN EVENT #2: Midwest Wrestling Dream Match "The American Wolf" Davey Richards vs "The Bulletproof Tiger" Jaysin Strife
In a match that was supposed to happen elsewhere in April of 2012, this first ever meeting will take place instead, in a MAGNUM PRO ring. After 8 long years in the wrestling business, Jaysin Strife has busted his chops to get ahead. To climb the mountain that is the pro wrestling business, Jaysin has sacrificed everything. Opportunity after opportunity taken away from Strife has lead to his further decline down the ranks of the pro wrestling industry. On July 28th, Strife begins to take back that momentum, rebuild that fire that he once had, and show EVERYONE that he has what it takes and that EVERYONE will regret the opportunities that they passed on by giving less deserving, and under apprecaitive people those chances instead of him. A new fire has been lit under Strife, and on 7/28 he stands across the ring from one man who is known the world over, Davey Richards. Richards is a very well traveled individual who is known all over the world for his intense smash mouth, hard hitting style. Strife is aware that toppling Richards will be no simple task. Richards is a former ROH World Heavyweight champion, as well as a former champion in Japan as well. Not to mention the countless other titles Davey has called his own in his stint in the pro wrestling game. The question is, is Davey over looking the heart, the determination, and the fight that Strife is going to bring on 7/28? Is it just another day at the office for Davey? For Strife, this is his moment to shine. This is his opportunity to grab the brass ring. Can Strife defeat Davey Richards and begin to ascend the mountain once again, or will Davey prove to be too much and beat some sense and realization into Jaysin? On July 28th, the Tiger meets the Wolf, now the question is, who will come out alive?
So Cal Young Boy Trial Series: Ryan Kidd vs Tony Kozina
The youngster Ryan Kidd is making his MAGNUM PRO Iowa debut this month. Kidd began his Young Boy Trial series earlier in the Summer out in Southern California, and he has since decided to test his mettle further by making his way out to Iowa to step in the ring with a whole new crop of athletes. However, what Kidd did not expect is to be thrust into the challenge of taking on pro wrestling veteran Tony Kozina. Kozina was chosen to test Kidd from the personal recommendation of Jaysin Strife. Years ago when Strife was just a youngster he locked horns with Kozina down in Kansas for Central States Wrestling. Strife has always looked at that match as a turning point and an eye opener and felt that Kidd needed the same experience. However, Kozina has taken some offense to how Kidd portrays himself in pro wrestling. Obviously taking offense to some of the things Kidd's Twitter account has on it. Kozina has gone on record as saying he will stretch Ryan Kidd like he has never been stretched before, and he should take this "learning experience" to heart after he is through with him. On July 28th will Ryan Kidd walk out of the Eagles Club, or will he have to be stretchered out. To find out you HAVE to be there when the Young Boy Trial Series continues with the Iowa debut of Ryan Kidd and the MAGNUM PRO debut of Tony Kozina!
"Babyface" Tony Cortez vs Brian Gott
This match came about after Tony Cortez approached MAGNUM management and said that he has had enough of the hardcore wrestling and violence that has been brought into MAGNUM PRO. Cortez no stranger to bloodbaths, he says that there is a time and place for everything and that Gott is using these hardcore matches as a crutch. Cortez knows Gott has great wrestling potential in him and he wants to make sure he uses it. Gott has been on a hardcore kick after competing in his "unsanctioned fight" with Derek Cornell, going on to defeat S.M. King in a falls count anywhere match at "All Jacked Up" and then Jeff O' Shea at the "MAGNUM World Series." Cortez says on 7/28 he won't have any of these hardcore shennanigans and that if Gott is gonna get the victory he is gonna have to do it the old fashion way and that is out wrestle the wily veteran Tony Cortez! Does Gott still have what it takes or has he fallen back on that hardcore nature to much already? You'll find out if you are in attendance on July 28th at "An American Wolf In MAGNUM."
Battle of the Big Men: Shawn Nautilus vs S.M. King
These two large men have a had few scuffles in the past when their paths have crossed, and now it is time for them to meet one on one. 1/3 of Team Lariat, Shawn Nautilus, has been on a tear as of late putting down man after man in his quest to get a shot at the MAGNUM PRO title. Well those may have been a bit smaller than him, he swears that isn't the reason. He says he is going to chokeslam King thru the ring and then thru the concrete floor of the Eagles Club. S.M. King is coming off a victory over MDB in his Young Boy Trial Series and he plans to continue his streak by beating Nautilus. King says that large obstacles in his way just get toppled over on his race to the top to get a shot at the title. On 7/28 these two men will collide, but the question is who will crumble first?
High Flyer Extravaganza: Supafli vs Vic Victory
This is a first time encounter for these two individuals. Both men are noted for their agile frames and their ability to wow the crowd with speedy aerial maneuvers. Naturally it was time to see these two square off and on 7/28 it will come down to who is quicker and who can get the 3 count first when Victory takes on Supafli. This will be a match you DO NOT want to miss!
Jeff O' Shea has something to say to the MAGNUM PRO fans on 7/28. Make sure you are there to listen to what this youngster has to say about his Young Boy Trial Series!!! Also appearing: Derek Cornell, Ebony & Ivory ("The Big Hurt" Abu Colossus and "Jumpin" Jeremy Jacobs), Preston Maxwell, Team Lariat, Merlin Dean Banks, plus more!!!

On 6/16/12 MAGNUM PRO debuts at BadonkaRonks (formerly Jack Daddys) in Council Bluffs, Iowa. This all ages, outdoor event will host some of the most interesting, and possibly out of control matches that MAGNUM PRO has ever seen.
After the 5/26/12 event, MAGNUM PRO proved that anything can happen when Derek Cornell and Brian Gott mercilessley beat the life out of each other. In the end, it took cars, thumbtacks, and even a barb wire board for the war to end. On 6/16/12, Brian Gott will step into another war when he takes on S.M. King in a no rules, falls count anywhere contest. Brian has proved his mettle in countless battles that he has undertaken. Not only in MAGNUM PRO, but all over the midwest. S.M. King is another one of those individuals who has waged countless wars across the midwest. On the 6/16 for the first time ever these two men will bring the war to each other. The match can end anywhere, and anything goes so be sure you don't miss out when Gott vs King happens outside for the world to see on 6/16/12!
No Rules, Falls Count Anywhere: Brian Gott vs S.M. King
Also on this night, the MAGNUM PRO title will be defended in a rematch from the finals of the Battle Royale Cup 2012 when Derek Cornell gets his shot at glory, again. In April at the BRC, Gunner Franks bested Cornell after Cornell tried to cheat to win and Brian Gott stopped him. Well now with the war over, and Cornell victorious over his nemesis Gott, he sets his focus back on that title that Gunner Franks holds. Gunner has been a fighting champion, having recently defended against the metro area verteran, "Babyface" Tony Cortez in a hard hitting battle. Now, with nothing else on Derek Cornell's mind except gold, he steps into the ring with Gunner Franks one more time. How will Cornell fair with a clear head? Will Gunner be able to best Cornell with out the outside distractions and the earlier matches in the night? These questions will be answered on Saturday night June 16th and All Jacked Up at BadonkaRonks in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
MAGNUM PRO Title Match: Derek Cornell (Challenger) vs Gunner Franks (Champion)
Last month saw the re uniting of local tag team, The Knights of Fire, when Vic Victory returned to MAGNUM PRO to team with long time friends and partner, "Dangerous J" Jaysin Strife. These two men squared off against Team Lariat in what was not only a physical, but also comedic battle at the Eagle's Club. Now a variable has been tossed into the mix. These men will go to battle with Team Lariat once again, however this time there will be 2 more men involved. Team Lariat has decided that they want their 3rd man in the match so it will now be Team Lariat, consisting of Marcus Holiday, "The Joedozer" Joey Andersen, and the big man and mouthpiece Shawn Nautilus. These 3 men will go to fisticuffs with The Knights of Fire, Vic Victory and Jaysin Strife, who now refers to himself as "The Bulletproof Tiger", and their good friend "Babyface" Tony Cortez. This is a bout you do not want to miss as anything can happen with the wide open enviornment and the death defying aerial skills of both Victory and Strife.
6 Man Warfare: Team Lariat ("81's Finerst" Marcus Holiday, "The Joedozer" Joey Andersen, & Shawn Nautilus) vs Knights of Fire (Vic Victory & "The Bulletproof Tiger" Jaysin Strife) & "Babyface" Tony Cortez
Returning to MAGNUM PRO for another shot of glory, will be Iowa female wrestler Kiandra, as she returns to take on the "First Lady of MAGNUM" Angelus Layne, in a rematch from their prior encounter at MAGNUM PRO. Both ladies have shown that they have what it takes to hang with the boys, and they are looking to steal the show and prove that women's wrestling has a viable place in the world of pro wrestling. Expected to be hard hitting like the last encounter, both ladies are out for blood, and out to establish dominance in MAGNUM PRO. Who will be victorious when these gals collide again? Has Kiandra picked anything up since her last defeat to Layne? Find out on 6/6/12 at All Jacked Up.
Ladies Wrestling Action: Kiandra vs "The First Lady of MAGNUM) Angelus Layne
The young boy trial series continues on 6/16/12. This time the boys aren't in singles action though. After their first tests on 5/26 both boys stood admirably against their competitors, however both fell victim to defeat in hard hitting bouts. On 6/16 at All Jacked Up, the boys get more of a light hearted test when the boys team up to take on "The 80's Pop Icon" Donnie Peppercricket and The Yellow Dog!! Although more carefree don't take the team of Donnie and Dog for granted. Both of these men have competed all over the midwest and even appeared for ICP at their yearly Gathering of the Juggalos event. Can Jeff O' Shea and Merlin Dean Banks tackle this colorful duo, or will they fall victim to a more experienced team of wrestlers?

More stars to be appearing on 6/16/12 and matches to be announced: Abu Colossus and Preston Maxwell will both be appearing, plus more!!! Keep your eyes peeled to the MAGNUM PRO facebook and be sure to get your tickets in advance by locating your nearest ticket outlet or MAGNUM rep, or you can visit BadonkaRonk's in Council Bluffs, IA and pick your ticket up there! While you are at, grab a drink or even some food with a huge menu, great selection, and some of the best bartenders in CB. We look forward to seeing you all get ALL JACKED UP!!!!
