I've been to two UWE shows in Michigan where they had Al Snow. He was awesome both times. Friday's show keeps looking better and better.

I don't know the last time I've looked forward to a show more than I'm looking forward to this one. This should be a blast.

Hopefully, the profits from the DVD sales will put even more money into the coffers of Luther North High School.

This all smells of a work to me. I wouldn't be at all surprised if many of those who appear to be on opposite sides of this "issue" are all in cahoots together. Who knows who might make an appearance at the show?

After this afternoon's NWWA show, I am really looking forward to the June 4 Hammond show. This group makes me excited all over again about indy wrestling whenever I see them. Today was fun--I'm guessing that June 4 will be amazing!

Another plus is that one of my favorite pizza places, Stephano's, is right down the street from T.F. South. I may stop by grab a slice or two, and then check out the show. That would be a good evening out.

I don't know if there is such a thing, but it's an easy 5-hour drive. Once I get past Gary, Indiana, there truly isn't much traffic at all. Even Grand Rapids is simple to bypass. The UWE shows are well worth the trip.

Thanks to the Fire Pro guys for putting on an entertaining show. Unfortunately, I had to leave before the main event, but the matches I did get to see were fun. Also, it was good to see two of my favorite wrestlers, Tristin Hayze and Dave Allen work. I've seen both of them more times than I'd like to remember over the years, and appreciate their work very much. It was also good to get to talk to Carl Morris before the show. A truly good guy.
For what it's worth, my two favorite matches were the six man tag and the Boz-Allen match. Still I couldn't say any of the matches were poor. I also had a friend with me who was attending his first pro wrestling show of any type. I think he is now hooked. He told me that he really wasn't sure as to whether or not he was going to like it, but he truly did.

I had a good time at Friday's show. I was a bit worried after watching the first match, but all of the rest of them were entertaining. I'd have to say that my two favorite matches of the evening were the Justin James-Eric Freedom match and the Ruthless Ramon--Dynamite match. I had a 17-year-old friend with me, and, not surprisingly, his favorite match was the main event. I have to say that I thought everyone involved with that match did a good job, too. I am quickly becoming a Melanie Cruise fan, as she is an impressive worker IMO. It was good to see some old friends at the show, Jimmy, Trevor, Eric, etc., as well as some of the NWWA guys watching, too. It was a fun night--and I think my first show held at a bowling alley. LOL. Just another unusual place to add to the list of venues.

I'm going, and I plan on being an ass. BTW, "many more" Scott Powers will get one of the biggest pops of the night!

I've met Severn and he was great. I look forward to seeing him again as well as meeting Jimmy Hart for the first time.

No, it's painfully obvious by the millions of views and the thousands of members this board enjoys that Chicagoland wrestling is the shits.

O.K., I have the answer. I e-mailed a person in the athletic department at the school. This is the response I received:
It's just a flying G (G for Gladwin). We have come to use a goshawk costume as a mascot because it's kind of hard to just have a big letter G as one.
There you go.
