It was something the Carnies did with a little kid, not sure who's kid it was. They turned heel and did a spot with "kidnapping" a little kid but then the kid reversed it and gave the Carny a super stunner! Yah it was a little hokey but I guess they figured if the Young Bucks could do it, so could they? The crowd in Crown Point was really weird this night too, they were like a bunch of comedians always chanting strange things so the wrestlers seemingly have to do strange things back to appease them. The Rumble match had about 1000 eye pokes for example, but it was pretty funny sh*t at the same time, really I think they were just playing to the odd ball audience. The shows are always fun but I wish the Faces of Fear had not destroyed the beer vendor, it was a way more rowdy vibe when they had beer and that was probably the best show too. The little kid belongs to Thomas Green, who is a buddy of BLP promoter, Michael Blanton. I think Green runs a show called The Dynamite Cup like once a year down around Lafayette, IN. The same little kid "books" that show and I think that show is for charity. I guess I'm old school and bitter but I hate stuff like 4 year olds in a wrestling match.

cool to see teddy hart on there. wish they'd go back to the afternoon shows and i'd actually attend. Agreed. I loved the afternoon start on their first show. Last weekends show had a 4 year old involved which, IMO, is dumb as fu*k.

"A Large Number Of Pre-Sale Tickets Have Already Been Sold For This Event." Is this like the time where the whole front row was "sold out" for a Galli show and then they wound up making it a free show with maybe 15 people total there? If I had some shrooms, I'd be all about this show. For $10 I could be in the same gym where I saw a bunch of future WWE stars at some of the best shows in my life, hell there might still be a little IWA aura left in there the boomers could only bring out! Man, IWA MS shows in this building were great. I recall Brain Damage and Drake Younger just killing each other with headbutts in a deathmatch. I think it was on the same show that had the Blue Meanie. I think Ki vs. Necro was also in Midlo. I miss the old days!

The BLP shows have all tore the house down I love it when they throw in male vs. female and old vs. new this is way pro wrestling should be, and at least the BLP roster has always shown up! Don't get me wrong, I enjoy BLP. I've just never been a fan of male vs. female matches, regardless of which fed does it.

Black Label Pro pretty much attempts to copy AIWs style. They use quite a bit of the same talent too. yeah but still AIW>BLP BLP does too much male vs. female stuff for me. That sh*t just always seems goofy to me.

Man I would love to go to one of these shows. I wish Chicago had a fed like this. Good wrestling but at the same time a little hokey. Haven't been to Cleveland in over a decade but I love that town. May take a trip to Detroit in the coming months. Anyone know of a good fed there? Black Label Pro pretty much attempts to copy AIWs style. They use quite a bit of the same talent too.

Preshow Match
'DiamondTiger' Kobe Durst pinned 'Big Scare' Dan O'Hare earning him a spot in the Darkest Timeline Championship Tournament at the next show on 10/21/17. My first time seeing both guys, enjoyed them both.
Main Show
Tournament 4-Way: Simon Grimm pinned KLD (Kevin Lee Davidson) to advance in the tournament in a match that also included B-Boy and Space Monkey. This was a really fun, entertaining match. It was great seeing B-Boy live again. This was my first time seeing KLD and I think he's great. Space Monkey was way more enjoyable than I thought the gimmick would be. Grimm, IMO, is a great talent and I think WWE missed the boat with him.
Tournament 3-way: Dasher Hatfield pinned Joe Gacy in a match that also included Mordecai. Dasher advances in the tourney. Gacy attacked Mordecai after the match. Mordecai and Gacy, at times, worked together in the match but Gacy blamed Mordecai for causing him to be pinned.
Tournament Singles Match: Sammy Guevara over Keith Lee by DQ. Lee had accidentally squashed the ref in the corner earlier in the bout. When the ref came to, he called for the DQ even though Lee had Guevara pinned at the time. Really, really great match! These two guys are super talented! I'd love to see a rematch!
Ernest 'The Cat' Miller hits the ring for his open challenge. He runs down Crown Point, IN and all of the fans in attendance. 'All Ego' Ethan Page comes to the ring and accepts the challenge. Page wins by DQ after a low blow by Miller. The Cat takes off to the back while Page cuts a promo about how much he loves Black Label Pro and its fans. Page says he will be back in BLP and plans on winning the championship tournament!
Tournament singles match: 'Filthy' Tom Lawlor pinned Matt Riddle to advance. Fun match with lots of mat stuff, submissions, and MMA stuff in general. I think Riddle could pass for a Von Erich brother!
***30 minute intermission***
Tournament 5-Way: 'The Bone Collector' Dominic Garrini pinned GPA to advance in a match that also included 'The Amazing' Rory Gulak, Leva Bates, and Donovan Danhausen. Good, fun match. Leva wasn't Blue Pants in this match, she was BULLS PANTS!!! She wore Chicago Bulls wrestling gear (still had blue hair though) and came to the ring dribbling a basketball! This was my first time seeing Danhausen. I'd like to see him back, he didn't really get to do much in the match. I think Gulak is an underrated talent and he's a super nice guy as well. The guys took turns tossing Leva around and outside the ring. I think Leva will be signed by WWE at some point, she's talented in the ring and a cutie pie too!
Tournament Singles Match: Darby Allin pinned Super Crazy to advance in the tournament. I loved this match! Super Crazy still has it! I do wish, however, the match would have been given more time. It's only a matter of time until Allin is in NXT. Really fun match!
The Sandman pinned Everett Connors quickly after dishing out a caning. Sandman did his whole Metallica entrance and the fans loved it! Both wrestlers shared a beer after the match which was pretty damn cool, IMO. The Sandman was in good spirits and really seemed to enjoy being there.
MAIN EVENT 6 WAY Elimination Match: GUEVARRA VS. ALLIN VS. GARRINI VS. GRIMM VS. DASHER VS. LAWLOR
Sammy takes the mic and says how great he is, how he was going to win, etc. Allin almost instantly pins him for the first elimination. Allin eliminated when he's put to sleep by Garrini. Grimm tapped to an arm bar by Garrini. Garrini was then pinned by Dasher. Dasher was put to sleep by Lawlor. 'Filthy' Tom Lawlor wins Phase 1 and moves on to Phase 2 of the Darkest Timeline Championship Tournament! Fun match but a little quick for my liking. Guys had to make other bookings so I get it but the match felt rushed.
FUN SHOW! I really enjoyed it! I am looking forward to their next show on 10/21/17. If you slept on this show, you missed out!

Mike Smith, the promoter of Strong Style Wrestling, still owes people refunds for the cancelled Indianapolis show. He had some big names booked (Mundo, Rose, Abyss, Thorn, etc) and then cancelled the show the day before the show. He left South Bend, IN and now lives in Missouri. Do not do business with Mike Smith. He ran some decent shows but now cannot be trusted. He said his daughter was admitted to the hospital but never produced a room number, the name of the hospital, etc. Refunds still haven't been issued and claims have been filed with PayPal. Jerry Wilson, who works as Brutus Dylan, was another promoter on this show and claims the money is gone. Jerry blames Mike and says Mike needs to issue the refunds. Jerry is still in South Bend, IN and, between he and Mike Smith, have killed the area. Workers, promoters, and fans...I urge you, do not deal with these shady individuals.
