Why is that particular tag team known as Grits N Gravy? I've seen them and the name doesn't seem to fit. Is Sami "grits" and Elgin "gravy"? Elgin is a whole lot of gravy!

UCW Headlock on Hunger South Bend, IN @ ZB Falcons
Ryan Epic won a 6 way scramble over Trik Davis, "The Indy Wrestling Superstar" Erico, Jynx, Kid Hybrid, and Colin Troy.
Brutus Dylan wins the Invitational Battle Royal.
Sweet -N- Sour Larry Sweeney defeats "The Man of Valor" Buddy Lee Brooks in the ICWICWA Texarkana Revenge match.

Big Daddy Dean, El Blue Inferno, and Aguila De Oro over Bi-Polar, Jamie Eternal, and Brian Skyline in 6 man tag action.
The Fan's Choice submission match between Seth McGavin and Kenny Kage never happened. McGavin's attorney found a loophole in the contract so McGavin refused to have the match. Kenny and Seth brawled around ringside until McGavin gave Kenny a nasty piledriver on the concrete. EMT's and security were checking on Kenny when Adam Bueller came to ringside and attacked Kenny. Beuller quickly disposed of Kenny and then talked about how he always gets put in crap, meaningless matches while Kenny gets the big push. Bueller challeges anyone from the back to come out which led to Nick Cutler coming to ringside.
Adam Bueller over Nick Cutler with a vicious double knees/stomp manuever from the top rope. Also during this match, Seth McGavin came out with his gear and left the building, quitting the promotion.
"The New Horror" Sammi Callihan over "PrimeTime" Sean Tyler
"The Old Timer" Jeff King defeated Scotty Young. King was talking about YOUNG punks not respecting him or the business which led to Scotty coming out.
The Kent Boys (Hayden and Christopher) defeated Hybrid Chaos (Ryan Rage and Russ Jones) and Zane Ramsey and Buff Kahula to win the vacant UCW Tag Team titles!!!

I went to last week's UCW show and had a great time. Intimate venue and all seat are close. One word of warning, though, to get to the gym you have to go up a flight of stairs and it was extremely warm in there last Friday. That was a very pleasant day outside as I rode over with my windows down. So, beware of the heat! Last week they had eight matches. I thought six of them were in the good to very good range. The Hype is one of my favorites no matter who he is in the ring against. I hope my schedule allows me to attend next week's show. I had a fun time last week. Starman has spoken. Thanks for coming to UCW, Starman! We look forward to seeing you again!

As far as time zones, is Elkhart an hour ahead of Chicago? Starman has spoken. Yes, you are correct.

Didn't some New Breed fed used to run there and use Modest and Whitmer all the time? Yes but Wallace had 6 or 7 cancelled shows in a row and killed the area.

Mike Wallace was the contact in South Bend for this show. I would assume him being on the show is the payback. Also, Mike Modest worked some New Breed (Wallace's old promotion) shows back in the day in South Bend so I am sure Wallace was the hookup for that as well. Anyway, it looks like a solid show.
