Pro Wrestling Blitz's Christmas Carnage was held Friday December 3rd at the VFW Cantigny Post 367 in Joliet, IL, highlighted by a one night 8-man elimination tournament to crown the King of Joliet, and Blitz Champion Hardcore Craig facing off with former TNA and ECW Heavyweight Champion Rhyno.
Match 1 (1st Round Match in King of Joliet Tournament): "Waterboy" Mike Horning vs. Blitz No Limits Champion "Latin Lover" Tony Rican
As expected, fast paced action kicked off the King of Joliet Tournament as neither Rican or Horning could get ahead of the other during the first few minutes, capped off with both men attempting a dropkick at the same time to no avail. Solid crowd support for both men. Horning nearly advanced to the next round when he blocked a victory roll and held it for a close 2. The No Limits Champion looked like he had the Joliet native up for a superplex but instead hit a top rope super swinging neckbreaker. Rican didn't recover fast enough to get a pin though, and soon thereafter the Waterboy got a close 2 with a rolling bridging German suplex. Horning got another close 2 with his 2nd rope moonsault. Rican answered with a headscissors and a leg drop for 2, but got caught standing over Horning when the Waterboy showed amazing strength by lifting Tony up into a powerbomb position and slamming him into a corner. He didn't release Rican and looked like he was going to powerbomb him in the middle of the ring when Tony was able to somehow turn around on Horning's shoulders and hit an inverted frankensteiner for the pin in 11:36. Afterward, the two fan favorites shook hands after Horning handed Rican his No Limits Championship.
Match 2 (1st Round Match in the King of Joliet Tournament): "Messiah of the Spine Buster" Machine vs. Tokyo Twin Yu
Although Yu is the taller of the Tokyo Twins, he was clearly outsized by Machine. Machine caught a kick and hit a double choke overhead suplex. Yu did battle back with well placed strikes that hit the pressure points, but he couldn't keep from avoiding an Irish Whip reversal into the Spine Buster for the Machine win in 7:15. Afterward Machine snuck up behind Yu like he was going to finish him off for good but chose to roll under the bottom rope instead. The Joliet crowd wasn't too sure what to make of that.
Match 3 (1st Round Match in the King of Joliet Tournament): Brandon Blaze vs. Egotistico Fantastico
Before the match, Ego took the mic and said he and Brandon were putting their friendship aside for the match and warned the Beer City Bruiser that he was getting Ego's best. Blaze tried to put the match away early with a school boy and a la magistrol cradle. They went to shake hands after a quick pinning exchange but Blaze rocked Ego with a forearm. Brandon caught Fantastico in the corner going for a leap frog by catching his legs and tossing him to the outside. Russian leg sweep by Blaze on the floor. Using tactics we haven't seen out of Blaze for months, he used wrist tape to choke Ego. After trading forearms, Ego hit a release German suplex and got a 2 with a stunner. Blaze caught the Mexico City, Joliet native in a fireman's carry and was about to hit his Death Valley Driver, but Ego slid out of that only to have his neck wrung with a Beer City lariat for 2. In the end, Blaze was sitting on the top turnbuckle and Ego went for a jumping no-hands super frankensteiner but was pushed off. Brandon leaped off the top appearing to go for a flying frankensteiner but was slammed into a powerbomb for the Ego win in 10:19. Afterward, Ego got a Corona with a lime, Blaze got his Miller Lite, they traded and they enjoyed.
Match 4 (1st Round Match in the King of Joliet Tournament): Tokyo Twin Mi vs. Cyanide
Shortly after Mi's introduction, Cyanide came out from under the ring to sneak attack the Tokyo, China native and work over his leg. The 350 lbs. Cyanide looked to have an easy time with this one, hitting a front falling powerslam and lifting Mi's head up at the count of 2. Shortly after a side slam, the referee called the match at 5:12, siting that Mi was unable to continue. Despite winning the match decisively, Cyanide flattened Mi with his swinging urinage. The crowd wanted to see it again but Cyanide carelessly dropped his limp bodied opponent to the audience's chagrin. Tokyo Twin Yu tried to help his brother but Mi screamed with pain each time he was touched.
Match 5: Dysfunction vs. "Simply Amazing" Justin Dread
Being as it was Dread's Blitz debut, he couldn't help but to peer out into the Joliet crowd to soak it in, but this distraction earned him a double ax handle attack from the experienced Dysfunction. Dread was able to bounce back with a standing moonsault for 2. Dys kept positioning Justin so he was sitting on his shoulders throughout the match. The first time Dys tried this, Dread countered with a victory roll for 2, followed quickly with a pescado to the outside. He was going to follow with an Asai Moonsault but Dys got his feet and pulled him face first to the apron. Dysfunction stayed a step ahead of Dread, countering a sunset flip attempt with two double foot stomps and avoiding a diamond cutter by simply throwing Dread crotch first into the ropes. Dys sat Dread up on his shoulders again but Dread fought it off and hit a back stabber. The advantage went back to Dys with a urinage into a back breaker followed by an anaconda vice. Justin showed some serious resilience by not only not tapping out, but hitting a diamond cutter shortly after getting out of the hold for a 2 count. Dread missed a top rope elbow and Dysfunction was able to perch his opponent on his shoulders again, this time hitting a Rubix Cube for the pin in 8:45.
Match 6 (Semi-finals of King of Joliet Tournament): Cyanide vs. "The Messiah of the Spine Buster" Machine
Machine at first looked like he wasn't going to fight back but it wasn't long before these behemoths were trading blows. The ring couldn't contain this personal grudge as they spilled out onto the floor, leading to a double count out in 1:23. Both monsters were eliminated from the tournament.
Match 7 (Finals of the King of Joliet Tournament, No Count Outs/No Disqualifications): Egotistico Fantastico vs. Blitz No Limits Champion "Latin Lover" Tony Rican
Rican didn't let Ego get in the ring and he opened things up with a suicide dive, crashing his own head into the guardrail. He recovered quickly and hit an Asai Moonsault. The aerial tactics soon turned into a brawl that moved out into the crowd. Ego got the upper hand, took a lap around the ring and cleared the guardrail with a dive on Rican. As they made their way near the bar, Tony suplexed Ego on the concrete and then slammed him into a table that was propped up against the wall. They then battled back toward the guardrails where Ego slammed the Latin Lover from the guardrail to the ring post, ending with a sickening thud on the floor! 2 count only as Ego tossed Rican back in the ring. The tenacious No Limits Champion sparked a come back but then missed a sight-to-be-seen Phoenix Splash. Ego got a close 2 when he spiked Rican on a Death Valley Bomb, the move that pinned Val Venis last month at Ring Wars. Ego went for his Mexicution, but Rican fought it off to the point where Ego had to shift gears and hit an Alabama Slam instead for 2. Ego hit a powerbomb, held onto Tony and hit another one as the crowd chanted "Uno Mas!" He went for a third one but Rican was able to turn around on his shoulders and, like the way he beat Mike Horning in the opening contest, hit an inverted frankensteiner, this time for 2 though. Knowing what he needed to do, the No Limits Champ grabbed Ego's weary head, looked like he was preparing for a powerbomb, but then proceeded to spring forward, taking Ego with him for a front flipping piledriver for the win at the 13:03 mark. The Latin Lover was announced as the King of Joliet while the crowd showed their appreciation with a "That Was Awesome!" chant. Rican helped Ego to his feet and raised his hand. Ego took the mic and told Tony to wear the King's Crown proudly because he's representing Ego's home town tonight.
Machine then came out and said on Friday January 7th, he wants to bury Cyanide six feet under in Blitz's first ever casket match! He added that he's the original Grave Digger and with God and Botch as his witnesses, no one will stop the Machine. Cyanide approached the ring, stared down Machine and simply said "1-7-11", evidently accepting the match.
Main Event: If Hardcore Craig wins, Tony Scarpone doesn't get a title shot as long as Craig is champion. If Rhyno wins, Craig must defend the title against Scarpone at a later show.
Rhyno went for the Gore early but the champ escaped to the outside. Back in the ring, Craig reversed an Irish Whip into the corner and hit a hard clothesline for 2. Hardcore wrestled smart and tried to wear the War Machine down with headlocks. Rhyno charged up from a headlock and hit a belly to belly suplex for 2. Craig regained control with a neckbreaker for 2. Craig went for his Hardcore Hangover, but Rhyno escaped by sliding down behind him and shoved Craig into the corner, not knowing the ref the there. With the ref down, Rhyno ducked a pair of clotheslines and hit the Gore. Tony Scarpone, a licensed official in Blitz, came out and counted 2 as the champ kicked out, to his credit. Scarpone couldn't revive the ref so he put the striped shirt on. Well, half way anyway. Craig hit a jawbreaker on Rhyno and then noticed Scarpone was in the ring. All Craig's attention was on Scarpone as he provoked the Insurance Policy. Scarpone didn't need to retaliate because when the champ turned around, he was Gored again by the charging Rhyno. Scarpone counted the pin for the win in 11:00. After the match, Rhyno and Scarpone raised each other's hands. Tony then got the mic, reminded Craig that he now owes him a future title match, and thanked the crowd for coming out.

so is the wrench from humboldt park or something is that why he's spiting on it. ? Humboldt Park has historically had a very HEAVY Puerto Rican population, which the Wrench is, so it seems Mr. Dante is going to the Wrench's home Neighborhood and spitting on it... Does this mean Mr. DVS is turning his back on his roots? Will this anger the other Boricua's in his locker room? Will it prompt the return of others? this is a big can of worms for Mr. DVS... =)

Yes your right in a community of how many people across the world?! Two people couldn't possibly EVER end up having he same style hair.. Wow I had never thought out of the THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS of people possibly do this (this being wrestling) 2 may look similar.. this is soooooooo un-heard of has never happened in the history of mankind that two people in a larger community could look similar.. He has to be Johnny (who by the way I personally knew before I ever heard of Shiima honestly) stole Shiima's look.. It couldn't be his gimick was inspired but something older... I mean forget the Zebra Stripes are the same and similar gear and ring attire.. and that he usually wears 80's metal T-shirts with his vest that he removes in ring.. I mean so he has a more MODERN hair style (a VERY Emo hair style that is his day to day look but f**k it he couldnt have just liked that style) which alot of kids have he has to be ripping off Shiima, because he looks like NOTHING else to ever.. Oh all personal sarcasm aside I know where the TAG TEAM got there gimick so I PERSONALLY know what the thought process was as I have known the other member of the team for 8 years.. and it ain't Shiima.

So wait a kid does a rokcer gimick and it's a rip off of Shiima?! I want to make sur eI have this right.. Shiima ORIGINATED the 80's Metal Band gimick that Johnny and Tommy Motley both use as a tag team.. Monster Ballad (Hence the last name.. MOTLEY!!! should have maybe given a tiny clue to where the gimick came from)
Though I guess your right Phil the ONLY place he could have got this Gimick was Shiima because if NO one else on the WHOLE planet could have EVER done a rocker gimick.. I mean Glam Rock, 80's Hair metal it's all the same thing and all created by Shiima.. good to know.
