There's room for only one Ivan in VWAA, and his last name is Manson!

Ha ha Just where was BobbyJ on Friday night... Dressed as Bobba Fett for WCPW, who just got out of Ingalls Hospital a few hours earlier from a kidney bi-ops, so that he could greet and take pictures with the children of Lansing at Lan Oak Park's Spookatualer Games that will be seen on LNN Channel 4 public access. I have always appreciated the support of the fans who came out to the shows. I also took the time to thank the wrestlers for the talent they provided and also for coming out to the shows. Many of which became good friends of mine. Hope to see many of you at Windy City Pro Wrestling where you will always be appreciated even more. Please note..as advised by my lawyer...any future likeness or appearance of the "BobbyJ" character without written persmission will result in legal action taken. you truly are pathetic

bobby j is a great guy. i've hung out with him a handful of times at the vwaa studio, he is as nice as can be. now he may not be the greatest ref, but he is a good person. i have no problem if someone dressed up as him, as long as it wasnt in the ed ferrara/oklahoma/jim ross sense.
in all honesty though, i hope this isnt starting another thread war between wcpw and vwaa. when bobbyj was with vwaa, posting randomly and whatnot, sometimes in a wcpw post, that annoyed the f*ck out of me. and i really wish frankie would have stopped it. now its the same thing, just reverse the feds. i hope someone in windy city realizes that this doesnt reflect highly. its bushleague. when windy city was filling buildings with thousands of fans, they didnt have their ref posting on the early days of the internet or shooting on a hotline to sell tickets. the wrestlers put those asses in the seats, not the refs. and thats how it should be now.
i hated the ref storyline stuff on message board threads when he was with vwaa, and still dont like it now that he is with wcpw.
i guaran-damn-tee you, a vince mcmahon guarantee, that these posts don't sell a ticket. no ref could post on a message board and make me want to buy a ticket.
a double dog collar match would make me want to buy a ticket. austin roberts vs baltazar would make me want to buy a ticket. but bobby, dean, or whatever random referee never will. but its not their job to. the best refs are the ones you never notice.

I said it once, and I'll say it again,.. I love you "lifeisawork." You have pointed out things before like this and are usually dead on. I fully agree about Bobby J. He is a great guy and a great friend. I never doubted that part of him for a second, and never will. Business got in the way of things truthfully. I am willing to give everything I have for the VWAA, but at this point in his life, Bobby J is not willing to do the same. But look further into that and you'll know that I can make sacrifices easier than he can. Bobby has a wife, kids, house and all that stuff and found it difficult to remain an owner when faced with certain choices. I will NEVER fault him for that. As far as the posting stuff goes, you'd have to know Bob. He does what he wants. Believe me, his meanderings were quite the topic in MANY board meetings. We tried to stop many of his actions, but sometimes constant veteran knowledge does not sink in. But Bob is his own man, so more power to him. I think it is good that he got out into the wrestling world on his own. He needs to experience what it truly is. Us simply telling him how it is, well, sometimes that doesn't work for some people, they need to go at it to know. I think he will find exactly how much he was protected by us. I think he's already finding he's going to spend just as much money, if not more, with where he is. More power to him. It is his money and his choice. Good luck. Now, as far as the Robbie K thing goes. It was Halloween and the person doing it truthfully came up with it on his own. I went with it though and did the coaching, so I'm no saint, but it was truthfully a way to say good-bye to the character of BobbyJ. Side note, the VWAA will never war with WCPW. I care less for what they do and wish them all the luck in the world.
