Boy, it sure sounds like liquor was a problem here. 15 to 20 beers? Drunk fans? Nah, can't be Back in the Golden Age of Wrestling, no one ever said or did anything obnoxious in a crowd. Alcohol and wrestling would have never even been thought to be in the same venue. Everything in the world was well as Bruno worked the bear hug and grew sweet, sweet chest hair. Then some bastards named Hogan and McMahon came along. They introduced beer, legdrop finishes, cartoon characters, cocaine, and AIDS and ruined the wrestling world, neigh, THE WORLD forever. AAW is a direct result of these actions. Booooooooooooo!

Well, I guess AAW is a sacred cow in which even the powers to be support stupid posts as long as their product is coddled here. Nothing like an intelligent discussion of the issues. "Greatest posts in the history of posts, " huh? That makes sense. And people talk about credibility? OK.

I was not there, you are right. Somebody THAT WAS THERE brought it up. He mentioned drunken fans and 15-20 beers. Why are you trying to sweep it under the rug? I get ripped for even bringing up the subject and now, somebody brought up the same thing. maybe...just maybe...I raised a legitimate issue? My point was yes the dude was loaded, the drunker he got, the more i had to hear how the "aid" was the greatest item there. It might be sour grapes as my coat smells of beet, i got hit in the back/neck/head with a "aid" as the guy was taping it on my seat for no reason. But hey, it was a great show. AAW always puts a good show on. on a side note, who where the 2 guys who faced McIntyre/Kozina? I figure they were Richards/Kozina students from Washington State. I just didnt get their names.

dark, this will be of no help to you at all but they've worked a few AAW shows in the past in the dark matches. I do not believe they're Richards/Kozina students.

"Greatest posts in the history of posts, " huh? That makes sense. And people talk about credibility? OK. I STILL DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT YOUR ISSUE IS. INSTEAD OF THROWING POT SHOTS, TELL ME WHAT YOUR PROBLEM IS. You're the only one on the board throwing a sh*t fit about dollar beers. Whether you like it or not, that is a selling point. I don't know if you live in a bubble or not but the economy isn't the greatest right now. You can come to the Eagles Club once a month for $10, watch live entertainment, and drink dollar beers as opposed to $6 beers in the city. We have the most intimate venue in the area for pro wrestling. That is another selling point. Top indy stars, another selling point. Let's recap: - $10.00 Admission Price - $1.00 Beers - Intimate Venue - Top Indy Stars WHAT'S THE PROBLEM?

Maybe the eagles club should institute a last call like other sporting venues.
Just a thought.

He has no complaints about the product so he's gonna nit pick on something so stupid just to make himself feel like he's important. Yes, the $1 Beer on the show header is a rib on Pete.

Yeah..I do it to make myself feel real important.....you hit the nail right on the head. I hope you feel better now by exposing my weakness.
For the record, I have no objection to dollar beers.....I have an objection to having my good time ruined by a bunch of drunks. Dollar beers make it easier to get drunk quicker and cheaper. Since you pander to a certain element, you have more drunks than other feds. If the truth bothers you to the point where you refuse to even concede that maybe I have a point and instead you deflect it by saying that I want to feel important, go ahead. I just do not like going to a show with a bunch of sh*t faced people. But, again, that is my opinion. I guess that to have my time ruined by people that cannot hold their booze is nitpicking. So be it. Or am I a hater? Which is it? Bottoms up.......

You know what my favorite "Pete-ism" is? Whenever he types something to the effect of "It's just my opinion" or "again, just my opinion".
Of course it's your opinion...YOU'RE TYPING IT! It also sounds completely condescending when you read it.
That said, I think Pete is a good guy. He just like stirring the pot every once and a while.
