After taking the hour-and-a-half-or-so drive to DREAMWAVE from the Southland last night, there is one thing that can certainly be said. "Silent Intensity" Austin Roberts could be the new mayor of LaSalle. The support the crowd gave him was great to see.
It also was a trip to see Jason Hades as a heel since I'm used to seeing him as a face. I wonder if last night's performance from Hades is foreshadowing to a heel turn in other promotions that he runs in since he has shown shades of getting cocky elsewhere.

Sounded like DREAMWAVE pulled off another great show. Nothing new for this company. The show with Ted DiBiase on August 1st should be great.

[Vega and Boz both earned a berth into the Alternative Title Tournament at Fighting For Our Friends on 7/31 in Streator OK - I swear I'm not trying to be a sh*t-stirrer here because I'm actually glad to see that DREAMWAVE and JayRep have had such a successful run so far, but I just want to ask this: if it's so important for DREAMWAVE to distance itself from the old RCW, why bring back what's got to be considered an RCW title?

Why Not? whats wrong with bringing back a tittle that they originally invented? I think it's plays on the lineage and history of La Salle.... Many Guys who held that tittle went on to bigger things! I Like it!

Gumbada hit it on the head. We are proud of our past, we don't run from it. The LaSalle fans take pride in the fact that DREAMWAVE is "theirs" and it's "Made in LaSalle". I feel that the lineage and history of our titles is very important. That being said, the "RCW" brand name has no value left. Those fans are either gone all together or the remaining few still come to DREAMWAVE. I was telling someone the other day, and maybe I'm biased, but with each passing DREAMWAVE show, RCW means less and less to me.

I was just curious because it struck me as odd, but I totally understand your rationale after hearing it.

Does Jessi come to shows incognito? Just wondering. Given that my picture appears here on the board, it would be difficult for me to secretly attend shows. I've often mentioned it in other threads, but I welcome people introducing themselves to me since they might know what I look like but I might not know what they look like. One running joke is that the picture in the banner features me without glasses, and I typically wear glasses. Perhaps I'm like Clark Kent when I have my glasses on, and that's why people don't "see" me at shows. LOL!
