Even though this event has passed already, I still wanted to share this information for Honky Tonk Man fans in case you didn't see it elsewhere on the board.
If you haven't seen it already, my "Elaborating on Entertainment" blog includes a topic titled "Pro Wrestling Extra: A conversation with the Honky Tonk Man," including information about the WWE legend's appearances at Gallagher's Pub in Manhattan with Bushwhacker Luke and Wizard World's Chicago Comic-Con in Rosemont. A few notes about using the "Leave a comment" feature on the blog:
-- While there is a field asking you to provide your e-mail address, that e-mail address will not be shown to the public once your comment is posted.
-- The grey Captcha box sometimes trips up people because it's hard to see and very particular about the characters being typed in exactly. To be on the safe side, you should copy your text elsewhere before hitting the Submit button in case the Captcha kicks out your comment.
-- If you've used the "Leave a comment" feature correctly, you'll get a message saying that your submission is pending approval. Note: I approve all non-spam comments as soon as I see they have been submitted.
Also, my pro wrestling column in Thursday's (8/06) SouthtownStar is on Page 12 of Fifty-Two Weekends, the newspaper's Thursday entertainment magazine, and includes comments from and a photo of WWE legend the Honky Tonk Man about his Chicago-area appearances this weekend.
