Dreamwavewrestling.com has just received word that "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan will not be appearing at "National Security" on November 7th as originally advertised. In addition, DREAMWAVE management has wasted no time finding a suitable replacement. DREAMWAVE CEO, Jay Repsel released the following statement:
"J.C. and I just received word that "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan is unable to appear at our November 7th event, "National Security", as originally advertised. Mr. Duggan is contractually obligated to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and he was contacted by Vince McMahon and asked to do a foreign tour that is adjacent to our November 7th event. Hacksaw was extremely professional and vowed to make it to LaSalle during the 2010 DREAMWAVE season."
Based on these circumstances, DREAMWAVE President ,JC Costilli, got into immediate contact with World Champion "Silent Intensity" Austin Roberts to discuss his opening in the tag team main event. After much discussion, it was decided that the new tag team partner of Roberts will be the winner of the "Good as Gold" briefcase "The B-O-Z" Steve Boz! Therefore, the main event at "National Security" will now be Roberts and Boz taking on Prince Mustafa Ali and "Legendary" Dan Lawrence.
With that being said, Costilli has also taken notice of the tactics that have been employed by Ali and Lawrence over the last couple of months and felt that a single referee would not be sufficient for this gigantic match. So, after several meetings and many names being thrown about, Costilli has signed former WWE Champion and WWE Hall of Famer Sgt. Slaughter to be the special guest enforcer at "National Security"!
There is no doubt that the Sarge will maintain law and order so get your tickets today and join us for DREAMWAVE:National Security on November 7th in LaSalle!!
Sgt. Slaughter will be available for pictures and autographs during the pre-show meet & greet and during intermission.
