AAW - 10/17 - Berwyn, IL - Black vs. Young!!!

This Saturday AAW returns to the Berwyn Eagles Club for "Massacre on 26th St". Coming off the most talked about show in the company's history last month and with the Windy City Classic V on the horizon Jim Lynam and AAW officials have put together another huge card featuring an AAW Tag Team Title match, a former champion coming back from injury, the return of one of Chicago's favorites and much more! Lets take a closer look at the card.

AAW TAG TEAM TITLES

HOUSE OF TRUTH w/ Truth Martini

The hottest tag teams in AAW are on a collision course and they meet on Saturday night. House of Truth have had a dominate year in 2009 capturing the tag titles in June and coming off a huge (yet controversial) win over The Young Bucks last month at "Us vs Them". Josh Raymond and Christian Able's celebration was cut short however as the #1 contenders Faith in Nothing hit the ring and sent a message to Truth Martini's men. Christian Faith and Vincent Nothing have been wowing fans all year in AAW with their hard hitting and innovative style. They have quickly worked their way to a title shot and have promised to make the most of their opportunity. The X factor here may be Truth Martini, Val Malone and big Mason Beck as the House of Truth always has strength in numbers. Expect one of the most exciting AAW Tag Team Title matches in history as one of these teams heads to the Windy City Classic V with the gold.


NEW AAW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION JIMMY JACOBS DEFENDS THE BELT


Jimmy Jacobs has been shocking fans his whole career. Last month was no different as he defeated Jay Bradley in a wild match and became the eighth man to hold the AAW Heavyweight title. It certainly doesn't get easier from here for Jacobs as a number of contenders are in line for a title shot. Jim Lynam has yet to announce Jacobs opponent for "Massacre" but you can be sure the new champ is ready for anyone.

WINDY CITY CLASSIC REMATCH

A rematch from last years Windy City Classic has been signed as two of the top stars in AAW collide when Tyler Black takes on Silas Young. Last years AAW title match was marred by the interference of Josh Raymond and Jim Lynam has booked this match so that the fans will finally get to see who is the better man. The match has huge implications on the AAW title picture heading into this years Windy City Classic V as a win here puts either man at the top of the rankings. Silas Young is coming off an impressive showing against Bryan Danielson last month where he came just short of defeating the American Dragon. Silas looks to get back on track here with a win over the two time AAW Heavyweight Champion. Tyler Black is coming off of a minor neck surgery and will not have much time to shake off any ring rust as he takes on one of AAW's premier athletes. Both men had expressed interest in a rematch and now it comes to fruition in just a few short days!


TAG TEAM GRUDGE MATCH

THE NORTHSTAR EXPRESS w/ Nikki Mayday

The Northstar Express have been a thorn in Matt "Krotch" Mayday's side for some time now. To add insult to injury Krotch's own sister Nikki has turned against him. It appears the youngster has found himself an ally in SHIMMER champion MsChif. We saw MsChif deliver the signature green mist to Nikki Mayday a few months back and now she will step into the ring with Krotch to take on the NSE. Corbin and Cruz are said to be very confident coming in to this match and could be underestimating their opponents. A unique grudge match to say the least coming up at Massacre on 26th St.


COLT CABANA RETURNS TO AAW


One of the most entertaining performers in all of wrestling, Colt Cabana returns to the Eagles Club on Saturday and has an open contract. We have heard a number of talents have contacted the AAW offices in hopes of getting this match as a win over a star the caliber of Cabana could move one right up the rankings.
