If you haven't seen my pro wrestling column in today's (11/19) SouthtownStar, the article is on Page 14 of Fifty-Two Weekends (the newspaper's Thursday entertainment magazine) and features comments from VWAA president Ratt J. Flywheel, head referee Steve Cain, VWAA officials and Jay J. Valiant about "Divided We Fall," and a photo of "Prince" Mustafa Ali by CPW's own buddy. Note: I had to write my article for an early print deadline, so that's why some of the information is not as updated as what's been noted in this thread. You can check out the online version of the article at: www.southtownstar.com/entertainment/firstlook/virtusio/1888818,111909ProWrestling.article If you're wondering where you can buy the print edition of the SouthtownStar, you can find retail locations at the below link, which includes spots in Alsip, Beecher, Blue Island, Bridgeview, Burbank, Burr Ridge, Calumet City, Calumet Park, Chicago Heights, Chicago Ridge, Country Club Hills, Crestwood, Crete, Darien, Dolton, Evergreen Park, Flossmoor, Frankfort, Glenwood, Harvey, Hazel Crest, Hickory Hills, Hinsdale, Homer Glen, Hometown, Homewood, Joliet, Justice, Lansing, Lemont, Lockport, Manhattan, Markham, Matteson, Midlothian, Mokena, Monee, New Lenox, Oak Forest, Oak Lawn, Olympia Fields, Orland Park, Palos Heights, Palos Hills, Palos Park, Park Forest, Peotone, Richton Park, Robbins, Romeoville, Shorewood, South Holland, Steger, Summit, Thornton, Tinley Park, University Park, Willow Springs and Worth. www.southtownstar.com/aboutus/1007978,061608paperboxes.article Other locations where you can find vending boxes can be found at the following link, which includes spots in some of the towns above as well as Crest Hill and Plainfield. www.southtownstar.com/aboutus/1008171,0616vendingboxes.article

Here's The Dean's DWF Special Edition of The Three Count
As we prepare for Divided We Fall, I felt more inclined to take a look at the individual match ups and put my stamp on who I feel has an advantage in each match and why, so let's get started. The Team Valiant Vs. Team DY&H offers a host of possible factors that could sway this match in either direction. Obviously the condition of Jordan Pryde is a question mark. His knee has not always been responding well to treatment according to inside sources in DY&H who must obviously remain anonymous for their own personal well being. If he can not wrestle, then President Flywheel will have to decide if the Valiants will have to give up a man or make the match a 4 on 3 which I'm sure Daniel Zigwa would protest strongly. Either way favors Team Valiant as it then makes Ben Cruise the weakest link and the first target. However, Frankie has a lot hanging over his head. Not only is a Hardcore Kingship match against Atlas J. Horn on the line in this match, but so is Frankie's seat on the VWAA board. On top of that, sister Lilith will be facing DY&H's Juliet The Huntress for the Women's title. Now Lilith is not one to back down from a challenge, but she and Frankie and Jay J. will tell you that she usually does her best work as a strategist so having this match, especially against another DY&H member may weigh heavily on the Valiant family and make it hard for them to keep focused. Advantage-DY&H The Super Sons Of War Vs. Team Wildside may prove to be the potential highlight of the night. It also could be a disaster for Team Wildside. In a business driven by egos, Team Wildside has some of the biggest egos entering the ring that night. Starting with manager Johnny Wild, who seems to think the whole world either does or should love him, it then proceeds to Bryce Benjamin, a man who has shown by his past actions that loyalty to anyone other than himself is not one of his strong suits. Akuma Okoye is a powder keg that could explode at any second and turn on not just his enemies, but also his teammates. When it comes to Prince Ali, those on the inside know I have known this young man for many years, although in a different incarnation. He can very much keep up with Ovirload, Titan and Marx and can devise a way around the strengths of Cedric Keys. Where his potential failing lies is that his fanaticism may cause him to self destruct and take his team with him. He will need to find the control of that earlier persona to possibly avoid this pitfall. Cameron Salem is going to have to go back to the building where his team was forcibly split up. Will the memories of that fateful night prove to be too much for this youngster to deal with? If the answer to more than one of these questions is yes, it could be team Wildside's undoing. On the other hand, both Joey Marx and Cedric Keys are fairly young and inexperienced, both could be a weak link, potentially causing a 4 on 2 match up. If this happens, can the strong personalities of both Ovirload and Lamar Titan find a way to work together to overcome the odds and find victory? My best sense tells me that even though there will be some awesome moments in this match, eventually the egos of Team Wildside will be their undoing. Advantage-Super Sons Of War Team Definition Vs. Team Real Deal provides some good question mark moments. Virgil Davis is being forced to step back in from a severe knee injury and has for all intents and purposes, put him out of action. Tracy Smith will admit that he prefers to be outside keeping order, not inside with the chaos. Will the ring rust of one or the lack of ring experience of the other prove to be an issue? It is obvious that Dameon Dunn is going to target Smith but if Smith's teammates run interference for him, Dunn may not get that opportunity. I see this heading down to Isaias Velasquez and TL Money. Money has proven he can beat the champion and even cause him to leave the ring and take a count out loss. Can he do it one more time with just personal pride on the line? Advantage-None Team Death Walking Terror Vs. Team Elite provides a myriad of interpersonal situations. Team Elite is now the visiting team in what was once their building. They did not take to kindly to the hand extended by the Tag Team Champions welcoming them. In fact, they took it as a slap in the face. Machine and Cyanide are not known for being friendly toward anyone they consider an outsider so they felt like the slap went to them when they stepped out of their comfort zone to welcome the Vanguard newcomers. I see Jason Hades and Sal Thomaselli as the wild cards in this match up. Hades has some impressive credentials coming in to his first VWAA match, but can he deal with the take no prisoners, eat their young style of Death Walking Terror? On the other side, Thomaselli and Jay Jensen had quite a hard fight against each other at our first Oak Forest show. I'm not sure if they can put that aside for one match, especially when two of your opponents are an established tag team that know each other as well as any two humans can. Advantage-Team Death Walking Terror Finally the Women's Title match pits DY&H's Juliet the Huntress against Lilith Valiant. Depending on the placement of this match in relation to the Team Valiant Vs. Team DY&H match, either the rest of the Valiant family will be able to cheer Lilith on or they will be in the back getting ready. I'm not really sure either way will matter. As tough as Lilith is, she does not wrestle on a regular basis. Add the experience of Juliet and the financial backing of DY&H which allows her to train to her optimum capacity and this has the makings of either a massive destruction or a massive upset if Lilith can find that weak spot on Juliet and take it to a win. as optimistic as I can get at times, the realist in me says that DY&H retains this title. Advantage - Juliet Once again, a big thank you to our fans for your support and I can't wait to see you at Divided We Fall.
