there are worse things to be in life than Austin Robert's "flunky, protege, disciple, follower, partner, associate, etc, etc, etc,"
and we will be going after every belt soon enough

I saw every second of the historic CLPW Title change just fine. For their heroic efforts to thwart the CLPW office conspiracy against THE NEW CHAMP, Mr. Roberts and his esteemed associate, Mr. Simmons, are being lauded throughout the solar system -- and deserve to be at the front of the line for any title shots.

"Esteemed associate"? That's much better then calling JT a "stooge" like you did in Harvard. Make sure you pick up enough supply of Chap Stick. You'll need it!

I never -- and I will gladly take a lie detector test to verify it -- called Mr. Simmons a "stooge." For one thing, he in no way has a physical resemblance to Curly, Moe, or Larry -- Shemp, maybe a little, when his hair was longer, but not now. Mr. Simmons, like it or not, is now a hero on numerous planets for his role in helping THE NEW CHAMP foil the conspiracy within the CLPW office. Glad anchovie brought up Chap Stick. After the gala Victory Party, I attempted to buy a tube at several stores. All were sold out, and the clerks told the same story: a heavy-set guy with a glazed look on his face who kept mumbling: "CeCe, Ce Ce," had cleaned out their entire supply of lip balm.

I think the guy was wearing a horrible looking fedora. JT Simmons only helped the Galactic Goon win the CLPW title so JT or Austin Roberts could get a title shot without facing the B-O-Z. Double G is a walk in the park compared to Boz.

ummm... it's Frank the Tank MELSON (no T in there Puppy) - where's Howie or Anchovie w/ their corrections! haha! for $10, I think the crowd expects to get entertained, and I think the number of matches reflected 'value for the money'. Any fewer and there'd be complaints. I didn't see any one else complaining and the intermissions give the smokers a chance to light up w/out missing any of the action, eh? The Stratford is a great place, but seems crowded even w/ the small crowd. don't know if that is good or bad. Also gotta agree w/ Howie, Tank is working the mike more, but I think it's good cuz it allows people to get caught up as to what is going on and he really doesn't have the tendency to babble on like some of the other mike hogs. If you don't make every match, you lose the 'train' or 'thread' or whatever you want to call it. Yes, some of the others get a little wordy and I have a tendency to nod off...zzzzz..... I want Action!! Not jabbering from jabrones and marks! All in All, I think CLPW puts on a good show, is a friendly operation who tries to cater to the fans. I'm anxious to see how they pull off a small town like Monroe Center - if they can get the crowd to come out there.

Aside from the absence of Ms. Midnite, Saturday night at the Stratford was a glorious time. I got to know how Bobby Heenan felt after Flair shocked the world by winning the '92 Royal Rumble.

Sorry about the spelling. My error. Just giving my opinions, nothing more.

It's cool Pete! It's a friendly message board. Not English 101. Howie makes a big deal about it cause he wrote a book decades ago that only was read by a handful of people. Relatives don't count.

No problem with an occasional spelling error or typo. But when they flow as freely in anchovie's posts as ink does from his blue Sharpie at a wrestling show, someone has to speak up for high standards in use of the English language. BTW, that book I researched and wrote "decades ago" went through two printings and won awards from state and national historical organizations. anchovie's jealousy toward me, as well as toward THE NEW CHAMP, is a badge of honor for two achievers.

What you guys need to focus on will be the match that I will have with "stick boy" Johnny Armonie come Jan. 23rd. I hope he realizes that I will make an example out of him for getting into my affairs.

Being beaten senseless by a "stick" won't be a pleasant experience -- well, it probably will be for most of the fans in attendance watching wrestling's version of "bully beatdown."

Johnny Armonie will have no idea what will happen to him on the 23rd.

I think Mr. Armonie getting his hand raised by the ref is a good bet.

January 23rd is a long way away, so I am currently concentrating on the match I set up for the November 14th.
Since it was supposed to be December or Juliet that faced Ann Brookstone on the 14th and neither won and it turned in to a 3 way match. This made the match even more interesting and the fans WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED !!
My only comment on the post of Nick's is that Armonni will need to keep an eye on the redneck as he will not know what hit him this night when he is in the ring with Nick H !!
