This Saturday 2/27 AAW returns to the Berwyn Eagles Club for the annual "Bloody Valentine" event. All three AAW titles will be on the line in what promises to be a huge night of action. Let's take a closer look at the card.


AAW HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE

A golden opportunity for young Shane Hollister as he takes on Silas Young for the AAW Heavyweight Title. Both men have tremendous momentum heading into this match up as Silas Young has proven he will do whatever it takes to keep the gold around his waist and Shane Hollister defeated Tyler Black to earn the #1 contender spot. These two are no strangers to each other as just last weekend at AAW's event in Davenport IA, Hollister outlasted nineteen other men in a battle royal to earn a title shot later in the evening. Hollister took the champ to the limit but Young ultimately escaped with the belt after rolling up Hollister with a handful of tights. Both men now know what they are in for and expect each to come in with a game plan. Hollister needs to watch his back as Young's cohorts The Irish Airborne will be in the building and have gotten involved in the champs matches before. This Saturday will the youth and fire of Shane Hollister be enough to overcome the cunning and experienced champion Silas Young? The winner walks out of Berwyn with the most prestigious title in the midwest.

The House of Truth's dominant Tag Team Title reign came to a screeching halt last Friday night in Davenport as Tyler Black won his second AAW Tag Team title and Jimmy Jacobs became the first ever triple crown winner in AAW history. The match was a test of will's with both teams going back and forth with neither able to gain a considerable advantage. Frustrated, Christian Able went to use one of the Tag Team Title belts as a weapon only to be stopped by long time House of Truth rivals; The Phoenix Twins. The Twins caused a distraction and Jacobs hooked Josh Raymond in his "End Time" choke for the tap out and the titles. Truth Martini was said to be livid and has immediately evoked his rematch clause. Now these two teams will do battle once more at "Bloody Valentine" and Truth is sure to have some tricks up his sleeve for the new champs.



AAW HERITAGE TITLE- 2 OUT OF 3 FALLS

Arik Cannon looked to be unstoppable as his reign as Heritage Champion spanned well over one year. Then in November of last year at the Windy City Classic V he met up with veteran and Chicago area favorite Colt Cabana. Cannon possibly took the challenger lightly and with a roll up Colt had captured the title. The two would rematch in December with the same result. Last month at "Chaos Theory" Cannon snapped and attacked Cabana before his title defense against Johnny Gargano. Despite the attack Cabana was able to retain the title setting up this huge match on Saturday night. With Cannon calling Cabana's reign nothing but a fluke the champion insisted on the two out of three falls stipulation so there is no doubt who the better man is at "Bloody Valentine".
