Let’s cut to the chase – the stakes of AIW’s first ever trios tournament couldn’t be higher, as the winning trio will be entered into the 2010 CHIKARA King Of Trios tournament. Now, the Absolute Intense Wrestling roster is comprised of less than 48 wrestlers, so we’ve turned to some familiar faces from around the country to see if they’ve got what it takes for another shot at glory. All of the teams and the full lineup will be announced over the next 8 weeks via the AIW Twitter (http://www.twitter.com/aiwrestling) every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. TEAM ONE: THE SOUL TOUCHAZ  The Soul Touchaz, comprised of Acid Jaz, Willie Richardson, Marshe Rockett, and manager C-Red, stole the hearts of independent wrestling fans worldwide when they Soulja Boy'ed their way down the aisle of The Arena for the 2008 CHIKARA King Of Trios. Since then, this team of perennial favorites has made their presence felt annually at “trios time”. Even though fifteen unannounced teams still remain, The Soul Touchaz must be considered strong favorites to take it all, with two consecutive King Of Trios under their collective belt. Do the Swissmiss Missionaries have what it takes to blow their way through their AIW adversaries? TEAM TWO: THE JACK OF LOVE  The next team announced for the "Jack Of All Trios" is the Jack Of Love, a confounding and meddlesome trio comprised of relative newcomers Chest Flexor, Jefferson Saint, and the "Jack of Love" himself, Jack Verville. On the surface, it would appear as though all three men have entered the sport of wrestling as a way to meet chicks and get laid, but the way that these chauvinists treat women is reprehensible. It remains unlikely that any female combatants will enter the "Jack Of All Trios" tournament, so the Jack Of Love may finally be able to look past their girl problems to become the most dominant stable in Absolute Intense Wrestling. |

Jack Of All Tros" Preview #3 - Alpha Beta Duke & John Thorne
THIRD TEAM ANNOUNCED: Alpha Beta Duke and "The Passion" John Thorne became unlikely partners in November of 2009 when Thorne risked life and limb to save Nick Belushi from a heinous beating at the hands of Da Latin Crime Syndicate. What could beer-swigging, bruiser bad-asses like The Duke and Nick Belushi possibly have in common with the reticent John Thorne? It's simple, really. All three wrestlers have been staples of the AIW roster from the get-go, and they all love a good fight, to boot. Trios - be warned! AIW will be hard-pressed to find a tougher team for "Jack Of All Trios."

If you grew up in the ghettos of Puerto Rico, maybe you'd be a little resentful of your American brethren, too. Luis Diamante, Joey "The Snake," and K. Fernandez are three thugs who have life-long scars, harkening back to knife fights where more than title belts were at stake. Unwilling to abandon the devious tactics learned in the streets, Da Latin Crime Syndicate has been unable to achieve true success within the ranks of AIW. Will this trio finally be able to shed the gang mentality with so much on the line to become the first “Jack Of All Trios?”

"Jack Of All Tros" Preview #6 - Psycho Sexual Panic?
With only two members announced for this next team, you have to wonder how it was approved by Absolute Owner Chandler Biggins. With AIW and it's former third member parting ways recently, Shiima Xion and Facade, Psycho Sexual Panic, haven't been able to recover so far in the AIW ranks. Will a new partnership lead to more success? Facade and Shiima are no strangers to Philly area wrestling fans. They intend to return to Philly as apart of a new partnership in Chikara's King Of Trios. Will they succeed?
