IWA Mid South presents the second half of a weekend event following Bellevue's Prince of the Deathmatches tournament.
MAIN EVENT - FOR THE IWA MID SOUTH WORLD LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP[/b]
Ryan Phoenix defends vs Markus Crane
Last month in Litchfield, opportunities arose again. On one end, Ryan Phoenix retained his Light Heavyweight Championship in a hard-fought and emotional battle with his tag team partner. On the other, the twisted and vicious Markus Crane outlasted three other light heavyweights in an elimination match to earn his shot at the much-sought-after championship. However, Crane seized his own opportunity to attack Phoenix after his title bout and laid out the champion with his own title, and help it above Phoenix's fallen body. Another opportunity came about in Bellevue on March 26th, when these two had a chance to rip into each other in a non-title affair, which saw Crane pull out the pinfall after another Phoenix adversary, Jaysin Strife, interfered. Coming up in Litchfield, the title will be on the line, and both men are poised to bring their A-game. Crane is demented enough to do anything to win the title and bring agony into Phoenix's life, while Ryan is still determined to prove he is a worthy & fighting champion. Litchfield will once again see two young talents get the spotlight, and they are sure to give their all in order to walk out as the champion!
THE REMATCH
Prince Mustafa Ali vs Sabu[/b]
After their wild clash on March 26th, despite everything Sabu threw at Prince Ali (and he threw many things), the heir apparent told his predecessor that he was "not afraid of you." Ali's actions at the end of the night may have proven otherwise -- as he sped off when Sabu came to stop Ali from laying a beat down on some fallen enemies -- but just to be sure, we have scheduled the rematch between these two for Litchfield, and it is sure to be as extreme as the first time! Can Sabu finally put the Prince in his place, or will Ali rise up and take the throne from the legend?[/blockquote]
More to be announced as the show heads closer! Help us make this the best Litchfield show ever and come see the action as only IWA Mid South can produce!
