Just found a free night hotel voucher and $15 cash for a Hammond casino. Guess that's a reason to go see the show. lol.

Acutally, I ended up waiting too long, and the hotel has already been booked out.
And I planned on going there anyway. It's a smallish building, easily accessable for autographs in the parking lot. Some of the closer rows of the upper level aren't that far away from the ring, so for $20, picking your own seat as GA, that's a good value. Plus, look at the latest lineup: RVD!:
TNA World Heavyweight Champion Rob Van Dam will defend his championship!
Also appearing live and in person will be “The Charismatic Enigma” Jeff Hardy, “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles, TNA Founder Jeff Jarrett, Mr. Anderson, Beer Money, Inc., “The Monster” Abyss, TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions The Beautiful People, Brian Kendrick, Desmond Wolfe, “Prince of Punk” Shannon Moore, Taylor Wilde & Sarita, TNA X Division Champion Kazarian, Jesse Neal, and more!
If $50 seats open up the day of the show, I'll almost have to buy it now.

Here's the lineup:
3-Way TNA World Heavyweight Championship Match Rob Van Dam vs. “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles vs. “The Charismatic Enigma” Jeff Hardy
TNA Founder Jeff Jarrett vs. Mr. Anderson
TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championship Match The Beautiful People vs. Taylor Wilde & Sarita
Grudge Match Desmond Wolfe vs. “The Monster” Abyss
Beer Money, Inc. vs. Ink, Inc. (Shannon Moore & Jesse Neal)
TNA X Division Championship Match Kazarian vs. Brian Kendrick
Also, I was watching TNA Live (not sure why), and they said on tomorrows live show at 3, they'll be giving away backstage passes for this show.

Give TNA credit for posting an ad on CPW. Take credit away for including Hogan's image on the ad when we all know he ain't showing up.

I, too, was glad to see TNA partnering with CPW to spread the word about its house show in Hammond. So who's planning on going to this event, and what match are you most looking forward to seeing? --- If you haven't seen it yet, my Elaborating on Entertainment blog features a Pro Wrestling Extra topic in which TNA officials share what's involved in the "TNA Live!" house show set for today (5/14) in Hammond. You can check out the online-only feature (a companion article to my pro wrestling column for 5/13) at: blogs.southtownstar.com/entertainment/2010/05/pro_wrestling_extra_tna_vwaa_p.htmlFeel free to pass along the link to others who you think might want to share their comments about this topic. A few notes about using the "Leave a comment" feature on the blog: -- While there is a field asking you to provide your e-mail address, that e-mail address will not be shown to the public once your comment is posted. -- The grey Captcha box sometimes trips up people because it's hard to see and very particular about the characters being typed in exactly. To be on the safe side, you should copy your text elsewhere before hitting the Submit button in case the Captcha kicks out your comment. -- If you've used the "Leave a comment" feature correctly, you'll get a message saying that your submission is pending approval. Note: I approve all non-spam comments as soon as I see they have been submitted. --- Also, if you haven't seen it yet, my pro wrestling column in Thursday's (5/13) SouthtownStar Fifty-Two Weekends magazine featured information on TNA's house show "TNA Live!" set for today (5/14) in Hammond. You can check out the online version of that article at: www.southtownstar.com/entertainment/firstlook/virtusio/2260812,051310ProWrestling.article
