Note: Dan Lawrence has been on the AAW roster longer than anyone in the company. After beating Mason Beck last week, AAW is giving Dan his first Heavyweight Championship match. He is a former AAW Tag Team Champion and Cruiserweight/Heritage Champion. Dan could become the 2nd person in AAW history to capture all three championships.

This Saturday AAW returns to the Berwyn Eagles Club for "An Appetite for Destruction". Once again AAW brings the top competitors from the midwest to compete on a level not seen anywhere else in the area. This week we'll be taking a closer look at the card and where better to start than with the big Main Event! AAW HEAVYWEIGHT TITLEVSIn the last six years many faces have come and gone through the doors of the AAW locker room. The one constant has been the "Party Danimal" Dan Lawrence. Over the years Lawrence has endured himself to the fans with his "work hard, party hard" attitude and his willingness to put his body on the line against much larger opponents. Earlier in his career Lawrence captured the AAW Cruiserweight Title (now known as the AAW Heritage Title) and the AAW Tag Team Titles with Ryan Boz but has never gotten a shot at the big prize; The AAW Heavyweight Championship. That is until now. After DL's gutsy win over House of Truth enforcer Mason Beck last month in the Fans Bring the Weapons match the AAW office has agreed to grant Lawrence a title shot. It will not be easy however as standing between Lawrence and his dream is the current Champion Silas Young. Since winning the belt last November Young as been a tear through the AAW roster beating fan favorites such as Jimmy Jacobs, Tyler Black, Shane Hollister and most recently Colt Cabna. It was not long ago Silas and DL were tight friends forming the tag team of "Suds and Buds" last year to take on the House of Truth. Times have changed however and with Silas' recent actions he has lost the respect of many in the locker room including the challenger this Saturday night. By far this is the biggest match of Dan Lawrence's career and he's got a lot of momentum coming in. Expect the crowd to be in a frenzy hoping DL can pull off what would have to be considered the biggest upset in AAW history. WOMEN'S MATCHVSWomen's wrestling returns to AAW for the first time in almost four years as two of the stars of SHIMMER clash this Saturday night. AAW fans are no strangers to MsChif as in recent months she has fought along side Matt "Krotch" Mayday against The Northstar Express and has more than held her own. The former SHIMMER Champion will be put to the test this weekend when she meets a rising star from Ohio and a former SHIMMER Tag Team Champion in Nevaeh. AAW is proud to once again showcase some of the most talented ladies in the industry and the AAW fans are sure to appreciate what these young women can do in the ring in this special showcase match.
