For those of you coming via public trans, the CTA's Number 8/Halsted bus will drop you off right next to the Park. The 8 also stops at the Orange Line stop at Halsted.
If you are driving, there are no street parking restrictions (unless posted) because the Sox are out of town.

Maybe. Maybe not. Maybe this was a sold show and they made some cash right off the bat. Maybe the wrestlers are paid so little, it doesn't take many fans to make a profit. I don't know. We'll see.
They already got one poster up at a local bar, so there is some promotion going on.

Some longtime Bridgeport residents were raving about WCPW's return to the neighborhood. I wonder if this show in the promotion's old stomping grounds means we'll be seeing more familiar WCPW faces in the ring. --- If you haven't seen it yet, my Elaborating on Entertainment blog features a Pro Wrestling Extra topic featuring information on WCPW's return to Bridgeport on Saturday (5/15) in Chicago. You can check out the online-only feature (a companion article to my pro wrestling column for 5/13) at: blogs.southtownstar.com/entertainment/2010/05/pro_wrestling_extra_tna_vwaa_p.htmlFeel free to pass along the link to others who you think might want to share their comments about this topic. A few notes about using the "Leave a comment" feature on the blog: -- While there is a field asking you to provide your e-mail address, that e-mail address will not be shown to the public once your comment is posted. -- The grey Captcha box sometimes trips up people because it's hard to see and very particular about the characters being typed in exactly. To be on the safe side, you should copy your text elsewhere before hitting the Submit button in case the Captcha kicks out your comment. -- If you've used the "Leave a comment" feature correctly, you'll get a message saying that your submission is pending approval. Note: I approve all non-spam comments as soon as I see they have been submitted. --- Also, if you haven't seen it yet, my pro wrestling column in Thursday's (5/13) SouthtownStar Fifty-Two Weekends magazine featured information on WCPW's return to Bridgeport on Saturday (5/15) in Chicago. You can check out the online version of that article at: www.southtownstar.com/entertainment/firstlook/virtusio/2260812,051310ProWrestling.article
