This event will feature Midwest greats such as MR. 450 Hammett, Quietstorm, Diego Corleone and many more. Luther High School North 5700 w. Berteau Chicago,IL 60634 Tickets will be $10 General Admission doors open at 5:30pm Bell Time 6:00pm Diego Corleone will offer up an open challenge to anyone in the building willing to stand up to the STRANGLER  1st Official match for the event has been announced as the Ever Controversial Alex Thorn takes on the powerhouse Quietstorm  A match of Epic proportions as 2 former Heavyweight Champions take on each other when The monster punisher 747 takes on the charismatic Iceman!  Immediatly after signing on for Blackout Wrestling Jak Ferrick requested Billy Starr MAY 19th at LONG LIVE LUTHER NORTH! this is gonna be 1 fast paced high flying match.  Yet another match has been added to the Extraordinary MAY 19th event that is Long Live Luther North. 2 of the hardest hitting wrestlers of the midwest collide when The NEW Nightmare Gavin Alexander takes on SGT. Dillon Adams. Can the Sarge show Gavin Alexander that his biggest nightmare will be stepping in the ring with Dillon Adams?  |

gentlemen,hold the quibbling for a moment luther north is having major financial issues if indy wrestling can help;so be it hell i started going to indy shows because of a fundraiser by the way,ferik is no joke he reminds me of greg gagne and ed carpantier except he couldnt show anything against teamdammit

Jack Ferik works friday for the Lucha in Chicago, Saturday for UWC same building and Galli on Sundays 6 mile apart.......Same people everywere...all the posters with the same people...that's my problem

I was been sarcastic, I'm surprise you don't have him.....My Logic in this post is....that there are to many feds, in a 12 mile radius using the same freaking talent. The Lucha show (That's not lucha) Slam, Chicago Style and now you....are using the same FREAKING PEOPLE.... YOur show is an Lucha Chicago show...OR a UWC Show...Or a chicago style wrestling show....If you are going to open a freaking company.....Bring new freaking people...!!!!!! How I'm over the place?

I was talking about this with someone the other day and maybe someone can answer.
Why do so many people want to be wrestling promoters? It's not like it's a glamorous job. If you're doing it the right way it's full of headaches and bullsh*t. Let alone trying to make $$ in an oversaturated market. There's plenty of ways to be involved in the buisness without starting a fed. Being a fan and supporting the scene is probably what we all need now instead of everyone wanting to be behind the scenes.

In the immortal words of Lenny Bruce.."everyone wants a taste". How many feds is too many feds? AAW is not a grizzled old fed that has been around for decades. They are an offshoot of PCW as is POWW. The answer to the question as to why everybody wants to be a promoter...ego. There is no glamor in being a fan and schlepping down your dough. Everybody gets their rocks off running the train ..not being a passenger
