Instead of getting the shot after BttB like Willie signed for, it seems VWAA Champion Hunter Paine doesn't want to wait. Paine made it very clear that he will be seeing "The Urban American Dream" at Better than the Best.

A little birdy told me that another last minute qualifying match has been added to the show. If this is true, whoever qualifies in that match would have to win 3 matches in one night if they want to be declared "Better than the Best"

If this is true, will it be a surprise entrant, or will you post the name when you find out? My apologies. What I meant to say is there is a last minute qualifying match. I don't know who or how many the contestants may be, but whoever wins that match will be placed into one of the 4 semi-final matches. If I find out and am allowed, I will definitely announce it |

Pre-Tournament Qualifying Match Set
Brawn the Lumberjack returns to action after having to get staples in his head. In order to qualify, he will have to beat the newest charge of the man responsible for splitting his skull open at Destiny. John E. Kash may have to power through manager Johnny Wild's punishment if he wants to be Better than the Best. I'm sure Brawn will have no problems exacting revenge on his way to the BttB trophy and the Frontline Medal.

Officially Added to the Tournament
Seeminly through some form of clever manipulation or loophole, President Daniel Zigwa has gotten all of DY&H Inc into the tournament. Along with last year's winner, Jordan Pryde automatically qualifying, he will be joined by his Tag Team Championship partners, Ben Cruise & The Amazin Kuan, and The "Demon King" Atlas J. Horn.
I've heard that the brackets may be announced in the next few days, though this isn't confirmed.
