Please check out my interview with PL Myers that I posted on the chicago pro section of this website. PL himself gave me all the answers for autograph prices for Hart, Foley, Svengoolie and Rosita.

Bret Hart will be $25 per autograph or $40 for 1 autograph and 1 pic with camera. Mick Foley will be $25 per autograph or $40 for 1 autograph and 1 pic with camera.

wow that's alot for a autograph Depends what you are comparing it to. You want to get John Elway to autograph a football helmet in August when he comes to Rosemont? You better get ready to cough up $225.00!! Oh, if you want a crappy inscription of "HOF '04"? Thats only and ADDITIONAL $85.00. Enjoy. If you only want a photo with Elway..... well, thats only $175.00 This is after you pay $20 for admission and $15.00 for parking. I (perfer to pay $5 at the train station and walk a little). www.tristarproductions.com/National/tickets.html

Wonder if Elway charges extra for adding his uniform number to the inscription? Btw, Aaron Rodgers is doing a private signing for an area memorabilia dealer, and an "AR" scrawl on a mini-helmet or an 8x10 will set you back $200. (Can't recall how much extra a "SB XLV MVP" inscription costs.)

Yeah what the wrestlers charge at most of these signings is FAR more reasonable than a lot of the players in the major sports. But I guess they CAN get that amount,so they do! Me, I have no problem shelling out $20 to $30 for the wrestlers I grew up watching over the years.

However, he did also write "but i would pay it anyways" which was dropped off of the response. It's a good deal if you into this type of thing. Referencing that John Elway charges more is missing the point. $25 or $200 is a lot of money especially when things are tight. The ticket prices were jacked up to $15 too, just saying. Let me add that PCW does a good job compared to some other appearances. They will not rush you and you get right next to the guest when taking pictures. The most awkward thing is having to lean over a table and sticking your neck out after paying hard-earned money in the first place.

Elway charges $225.00 because people will pay it.

Of course, you are right, Joe. I have a whole problem conceptually with anybody charging for an autograph to their fans. But that is me, I guess.

I think they're sick of people making money off their signature so they are just cashing in on it. Ebay is to blame for most of this.
So $25 for a Bret Hart or Foley signature is a drop in the bucket compaired to what other professional athletes charge for an autograph. Bret Hart has done more for wresting than John Elway has done for the NFL (IMO).

Nope I like Bret but his matches were basically all the same like many others have said previously & his promos have been known to be pretty painful at times. He also wasn't that good at drawing money in the states as Vince pretty much considered him a stop-gap champion. Don't get me wrong, I think he's done quite a bit more to help than hurt the industry but it would be age-inappropriate for me to stand in line & pay Bret $25 for an autograph. Then again, at 39, I'm in a karaoke contest.
