Really! Were you deported? LOL Hard to imagine any place being more remote than Wausau, WI. In any case, since you were so lavish in your praise of DW shows minus the "special guests," I'd expect you to put your money where your mouth is, so to speak, & tell me in detail what I'm missing.

Well, for starters, LaSalle is a nice place to visit but frankly, they try hard to look like a legit wrestling company.
I have to wonder if the change of heart about having guest had anything to do with Chavo. If they can get a hold of somebody who doesn't typically go to indie show and be a big curiousity, chances are DW will bring that kind of person in down the road.

I've always assumed dropping the "special guest" was a cost-cutting measure.

Not necessarily every month but DW doing their version of a house show, like they did the night before Anniversary, is something I hope they continue with. Its an opportunity for some more continuity.

Chavo was fantastic and that is correct..If/when a good oppty presents itself, we would be interested. We just decided against bringing in a guest just to say we did, since we have brought in just about every reasonable option over the last 3 years. Based on the crowds and feedback we have received, the lack of guest hasn't effected us so far...Big D, I appreciate your comment on the effort we put in our events but not sure if "they try hard to look like a legit wrestling company" is a compliment or not...I have always considered us very legit in every way.

All I am saying is that you do put your best foot forward for the very most part with your shows. What I hope you do, even if you are hell bent in doing every show in Lasalle/Illinois Valley, is doing another show (like the one the night before anniversary) on more of a regular basis. That would give you that much more of an identity. It would make your monthly themed shows more of reason, or an excuse, to hot shot and bring in more talent to see if you can work with rather than relying on dark matches before "the monthly blow out show."

Appreciate it..As it stands now we have 2 upcoming free "house shows" (June 8/July 1)..The June show is another doubleshot weekend and after the success of "After Dark" it wouldn't surprise me if we added another of those as well...
