They posted the texts between Ego and SDH concerning the ring rental all the way up to the 'accident'. I guess most of the workers that were booked are pissed off at Ego for pulling this. Hopefully karma doesn't strike.

If it is true, it's incredibly petty. The fed lost money in promoting the show and offering refunds. If he's going to fail, let it be on his own merits or lack thereof.

This kind of stuff doesn’t happen to respectable promoters. This stuff happens to clueless marks who go online telling everyone they are a wrestling prodigy, those who gonon message boards and tell lies about other people. It happens to those who rip people off and lie about their experience in pro wrestling. Shawn did all these things. That IS his merit. Every respectable worker dropped out as soon as they did some research on who they were working for. Fact. |

However, it’s a douche move to take someone up on a ring rental (it’s in the texts) and cancel out the other ring rental two days before the event. If he would have stayed with the original ring rental he would not be where he is now. He would have had some kind of event. Another subject. Are the sponsors getting their money back? |

It was originally said that I rented him the ring. I live in New Hampshire. I don't own a ring. After 2 days, I think I have figured out what happened.
He had about 5-7 pre sale tickets. The show would cost him about $3,000, and he didn't have money to cover it. He cancelled the show and threw mine and Ego's name (Of all people) out there to try to be the victim.
I came to this conclusion because Sean always says that his guys are paid when they get there. I know he didn't have the money because he didn't pay the wrestlers that showed up. 2 of them actually asked me for the money, this was before I even knew what was going on.I had to figure out what the deal was from his wrestlers.
He cancelled Blade's ring after it was already booked. That almost tells me he knew ahead of time he was doing this.
Steve Cain was out. Steve will do anything to be associated with wrestling, and even he backed out.
Hopefully this is the end of Sean, but I highly doubt it.
