We can't wait to welcome hundreds of you to Dave Mattio Field this Friday for the first-ever WARRIOR WRESTLING: FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS. The weather looks to be 70-75 degrees with a clear sunset Friday evening, and our talent are ready to light up the night in front of the biggest wrestling show audience in the United States since the beginning of the pandemic! We are getting close to selling out the VIP Fan Fest ahead of the show, and we have heard from many of you who would love to join us for the Fan Fest and the show but are unable to do so due to inability to travel or an abundance of caution given the circumstances. Thus, we've put together a new opportunity for this show - a VIRTUAL Fan Fest! So, what the heck is that? The Virtual Fan Fest gives you all the perks of the actual VIP Fan Fest, but from the safety of your own home. You will get a link to private group video stream to ask questions to the wrestlers via our host Val Capone on Friday night from 6:00 to 7:00, and we will gather at least 7 autographs for you and mail them to you after the show. Illinois posts just under 2K positive test results today. Daily uptick of the positivity rate continues. This super mark thinks it's a good idea to bring in guys from Tennessee, California and Texas to mingle with what he hopes are hundreds of people. It would just be classic if this accelerated an outbreak and we all got to return to phase 3. What would be the liability? Could people come after the school for their fund raiser?

The kids can't get on the field and tackle each other while fans watch from the stands but people can come from hot zone states, grease up and roll around with each other after taking selfies with the fans. Makes sense. |

Looks like Mad Mark's favorite ring crew led by Merle are handling this show. What could possibly go wrong. Maybe BD Smooth will get to wrestle.

I don't understand their logic by bragging that this is the largest attended pro-wrestling event in the last 6 months.
Their series of Tweets show a couple of those "clowns" getting too close to the fans.

Honestly, that looks like a safe set up that they had. Was anyone there in person to give a better perspective.
Note: I do not give a sh*t about the promoter being a money mark or whatever. If his show was run as safely as possible for fans and talent, then good on him. I don't care about anyone's personal feelings about the guy.

I went to the show, and it was fantastic. Lots of great matches, and as always the talent was top notch. Everyone was very spread out and wearing masks. I have not been to a wrestling show since February so this was nice.
