I thought there weren’t any fans allowed at AAW. So who is the fan not masking? Look, AAW is trying here. Like Warrior tried running outdoors. A lot of these guys work Impact or MLW. They need to get paid. Danny Daniels was a wrestler, so he wants them to get paid. He doesn’t have to run at all. Nobody would blame him if he shut down. If AAW is losing money, they won’t run. Period. They shouldn’t bother if that’s the case. Before the shutdown, they had people who were willing to pay even more than $13 to attend live. Crazy? Yes, I wouldn’t pay that much, but if there’s a market for it and they’re making money trying to run a show the right way, then I can’t find fault with that. I may not like it enough to buy a PPV, but that’s because I’m bitter and cynical and wrestling is not the priority it used to be at my age. But I can’t fault them for trying. Zoom in. Look, they had all these months to do outdoor shows, so they aren't doing things right. If ya wanna spend $13 on a what is now an average indie, fine, but I don't appreciate this company man telling me I need to watch the show. f**k that noise. You can watch the show the same way “aaw star” trey miguel gets to watch the shows, asking fans for their VOD login when he sees them tweeting gifs!

I'm not the biggest fan of the ROH/ PWG work rate based companies but I have checked out some of AAW's current shows and have watched and attened some of the old shows. From all accounts, AAW's main revenue stream is mainly in VOD and streaming and has been for some time( probably when they started booking indy star studded shows). I would assume the current batch of shows are generating a profit. Unlike Warrior shows, AAW are financially responsible for the success of their shows. These current shows have no comparison to the Berwyn shows. The talent level was much different, comparing guys like Trey Miguel and Myron Reed to Devoid Dan Lawrence ( devoid of charisma, wrestling ability and muscle) is silly. The actual production values are miles beyond the early shows I have seen. The early shows looked like it was filmed by the AV department of the local junior high. If running shows with very limited personnel to create content and there have been no reportable positive tests associated with any shows. I don't see the big deal. Myron Reed is dope. I think Trey Miguel sucks. They were both booked at the last minute. JPecard and I never compared them to Dan Lawrence. But I'll say it now. Dan Lawrence is not as good as Myron Reed, of course but I'll sure as hell remember him in 20 years when Trey Miguel will likely never cross my mind. And the early shows at AAW are the first couple years. Once they started booking legit guys round 06 I believe, could be wrong they became the best fed in the area by far. So yes. This card til Myron came along is less interesting then the EARLY AAW shows. And indies shouldn't be running anyways. If WWE/AEW took this long to get their sh*t together, do you really expect your local indie to do the same? C'mon now. It's stupid and dumb to be running shows with any fans, period.

Wonder if he has the patreon login to a certain fan's feet page. Jumpin Jim would love it.

Dan Lawrence wasn’t the most talented guy in the world, but at least he brought those PBR trunks and was over. Somewhat.

The only things I'll remember about Dan Lawrence will be how untalented and unathletic he was in the ring, his underdeveloped physique that was reminiscent of a prepuber, how he seemed to be over with his group of Brookfield bros and wondering why he was being booked by a company claiming to be the best independent wrestling company in Chicago.

Those Brookfield Bros must have been regular paying customers.
