Indie attention is good if it leads to something bigger. Being squashed on TV in 3 minutes isn't building your resume. Those aren't tryout matches. Tony Khan is not going to rush the ring with a contract because he can't standing letting GPA get away. He got a nice payday for a few minutes work in front of some hometown fans. He'll probably make a GPA is All Elite banner like every other rube that they were getting signed after being TV enhancement talent. As long as he doesn't end up like Ego, Chicago's version of Dennis Stamp fron Beyond the Mat, 'I'm not going unless you get me booked Mox'.

How about trying not to be so lame? It’s got over 8,700 views on Twitter so far. It’s better than nothing. and his vid got barely any likes or comments, without dan reposting it would be buried. gpa is lame af like most of the chicago local guys. the toys and sh*t these guys collect have more personality than them |

From the pics posted - no masks worn at the BLP/GCW show. 'The safety of our fans is the number 1 concern' Sure Mikey. Was there armed security? If not, then it’s hard to force anyone. As for the card: I realize it’s an outlaw mud show, but he could’ve broke his neck. So stupid. Wut? |

Age and knowledge and scientific research about CTE and brain damage have led to safer behavior in the industry. We all know better now. If he’s making six-figures to wrestle and was expecting a PPV bonus to do that spot, then maybe you can justify doing it. But the body can only take so many bumps. He had no room for error. If he broke his neck, I doubt you’d be so gung-ho over that spot. |
