Scott f'n Norton? Holy crap, he must be in his 60's, I'd love to get a pic with him. He was always a favorite of mine from the awa days to the nwo. Good call. I just checked, he'll be 61 in June.

I recall when he worked the pre-show Rumble at Wrestle Kingdom a few years ago, it looked like he couldn't bump at all. Which is fine, it'll be cool to see him for a few minutes in a 12-man tag.

Interesting they have Juice Robinson listed on the line-up, his contract expired and he is a free agent. Sounds like Juice extended his contract so he could appear on this show specifically. He is now officially done with New Japan.

New Japan Pro-Wrestling deeply apologises for the persistent technical issues and poor video and audio quality of the Windy City Riot live stream on FITE. A rectified archive of the event will be made fully viewable in its entirety as soon as possible. The archive will also be viewable on NJPW World from May 4. For customer support, check FITE’s website here: support.fite.tv/hc/en-us/sections/115000789034-How-to-orderWell, glad I saved my $20.

Sucks, this should of been a big deal and Fite failed them.
I will pay to see the replay.

Sucks, this should of been a big deal and Fite failed them. I will pay to see the replay. It's well worth the buy. Unlike the ROH/NJPW shows, this felt more like a real NJPW production even with fewer Japanese talents. Ishii vs. Suzuki especially had the same vibe as a singles match on a bigger NJPW show and the crowd ate it up. A great last hurrah for the Odeum as a wrestling venue.

The show was average at best, not anywhere close to the ECW shows. The main event was good until they completely f'ed up the ending, laying a giant turd to end the show. The ref counted 3 and called for the bell when Osprey clearly kicked out, then Mox put on a submission and Osprey tapped to try to save it but they had already rang the bell too fast. You won't have to buy the replay just watch it for free on Botchamania.
