Powerhouse Wrestling Inc. is proud to announce the first annual "Cruiser Cup" Tournament will be held on Nov. 5th in Lincoln (IL) at the Lincoln College Davidson-Sheffer Gymnasium (300 Keokuk). Twelve of the best cruiserweights from throughout the Midwest will compete in this one-night single-elimination tournament to determine the first "Cruiser Cup" winner.
Already confirmed for the this year's tournament field include Tony Rican, "Golden Boy" Mike Horning, Acid Jazz, Alto, "The New Thing" Jeff King, Tyler Black, Marek Brave and Bryce Benjamin.
"We're very excited about the first eight entrants in the "Cruiser Cup" being able to participate," said Tobi Hope, member of Powerhouse Wrestling Inc.'s Board of Directors. "There are still four spots to be filled. I have a stack of tapes sent to me by cruiserweights from all around the Midwest who are trying to get into the inaugural "Cruiser Cup" Tournament, so I've got my work cut out for me."
Rumors are already flying around by Powerhouse fans as to who the last four participants will be. Will it be a "blast from the past", a current Powerhouse talent or a newcomer?
Doors open for the Nov. 5th show at 6 p.m. with a 7 p.m. bell time. Advance tickets are $10 and can be purchased in Lincoln at Family Custom Cleaners and Tanning (621 Woodlawn) and IGA (713 Pulaski). Tickets will be available at the door for $12.

Hey Joey, Read a little bit, brother, Alto's already there. I've been pushing bringing him in since WWZ shut down, I now have my wish. I think the fans are going to have a great time.

I like Joey's picks, but Sydal and Delirious are booked for Ring of Honor that night.
