What's fair is fair. I asked you to refrain from speculation and you agreed to hold off on commenting until the show was over and done with.
If you have any information that might be of interest to the readers of this message board, and it's not simply gossip that doesn't pertain to the subject at hand ( the Iowa show that happened this past Sat.), you may fire when ready.

Here are the results, to the best of my knowledge. This was a very long show and there was alot going on. (I was in charge of the audio, and there were many problems that kept my mind off the in-ring action!)
Match 1 Chandler Mclure vs Trik Davis
Decent opener. Nothing stands out in my mind. Trik Davis got the victory.
Match2 Shane Alatorre vs Tank Roberts
Once again, I apologize for not seeing much of the match. Tank took the win in this one.
Match 3 Lady Thrillers vs The Synners
The Synners came out on top in this tag team match.
Match 4 Jake Ryan vs Adam Evans
Adam Evans got the pin.
Match 5 (Winner to face Venom for the AWL Title) Mason Quinn vs Din T More
Din T More got the pinfall to earn a shot at the AWL Title later in the evening.
Match 6 Angel Armani vs Sylas Young
This match went way too long. It felt like it was never going to end! I don't think the crowd cared who won, as long as it ended!
For the record, Young took the win.
Match 7 (10 Man Battle Royal for $5,000) Nathan Ironside, Shane Alatorre, Tank Roberts, Nevin Knoxville, Steven Youngblood, Mikey Lovemuffin, Woody McGuire, Hank The Special Olympian, Tyler Black and Marek Brave
The first 7 men went over the top rope pretty quick. Leaving Black, Brave and Hank. Hank sat in the corner and held the ropes, looking scared the entire time. Black and Brave hit each other with some impressive moves. At one point Black and Brave were standing on the top ropes setting up something when Hank rushed over and shoved them both off, eliminating them, and making himself the winner!
Match 8 Ali Stevens vs Doink The Clown
In a match that was billed as the final confrontation between WWF/WWE and WCW, both men did the best they could. The match was ok. Nothing spectacular. (But, there is a reason why nobody gave it their all during this show. I will not get into it, but just know there was a reason!)
Ali Stevens got the win. I guess this means WCW wins the war! *shrug*
Match 9 (AWL Championship Match) Din T More vs Keith "Venom" Walker (Special guest referee: Frankie DeFranco)
By the time the main event started, the crowd was dead. Alot of them were gone, or left during this match. More and Venom put on a decent match.
Venom took the victory to become the first ever AWL Champion!
After the match, Venom asked for the microphone... and a trash can! He called out Don Stevens and talked a little trash, then said "This is what I think of your company and yout title!" and proceeded to spit on the belt and drop it in the trash!
After Venom left the ring, Hank The Special Olympian climbed in and retrieved the belt from the trash. He asked DeFranco if he could have it. At that point DeFranco declared Hank the NEW AWL Champion!
I believe I have the results correct. If I got anything wrong, I apologize. There was a ton of drama before the show started, and quite a bit during the show. I was trying to pay attention to the action, but dealing with so many things all at once.
As far as there being another show. I can only speculate, but, I would say the chances of it happening are VERY slim!

Rocco has a point the chances are the equivalent of HELL FREEZING OVER. Lessons have been learned. Chicago Pro you said fire away then here are the facts. Cash or Check Sponsorship that were valid $2150.00 {donated sponsorships $2475.00 no money changed hands only materials}. Leader Advertising cost $350.00, River City Reader Advertising $94.00, Mediacom Mainstreet Channel 72 $327.64, Fliers $185.00, Posters $213.98, Ticket Printing $187.89 = $1,358.51 in advertising. Keith Walker ( I agreed to pay him $250.00 but he bitched and complained) so I paid him $300.00 + a round trip airfare from St. Louis,MO $219.00, Johnathan Matthew Hartline (Doink The Clown) I paid him $200.00 + a round trip airfare from St. Louis, MO $219.00, & Arthur S. Allen (Ali Stevens) I paid him $125.00 + a round trip airfare from St. Louis, MO $219.00 = $1382 total. Keith Walker without my permission ran up a $63.48 Mississippi Grill bill at the Howard Johnson, John Hartline with the help of Jason Stephenson, Jared Stephenson, Jason's girlfriend Bridgett, Jared's girlfriend Heather, Keith Walker, & Arthur Allen without my permission ran up a $190.33 Mississippi Bar bill at the Howard Johnson, John without my permission ran up a $34.66 Mississippi Grill bill at the Howard Johnson, Arthur Allen without my permission ran up a $42.29 Mississippi Grill bill at the Howard Johnson which I paid Saturday morning of November 19th = $330.76 total. Add $1,382 + $1,358.51 + $330.00 = $3,173.17and the show had not even happened yet. Then 9 wrestlers showed up at the show who I never even booked costing $675.00 I'm now broke after this. I hope for the gate to save me Danny Daniels who had no permission taking the gate takes it & covers his people I never saw a dime of it to pay those that I did book. I've been still paying those who did not get paid that night until I get caught up. After Frank Jendusa (Frankie De Falco) put my belt which cost-ed including the customization $285.96 on some guy who he is training named Jon who went by Hank The Special Olympian it was stolen by them the wrestlers. I don't know who but they do and for that they must realize what they did was wrong. I'm not pointing fingers. De Falco saved what there was of a show kudos to him. The whole F****n show was a disaster. I don't give a crap what anyone says about it. I got screwed as did The American Red Cross and that SUCKS big time. Yes I made a few mistakes on this show but at least I can be honest about it. By the wrestlers skipping out on my bar sponsors they not only cost me those sponsors but other promoters as well. As for EMW Rocko e-mailed me just 3 days after the disaster AWL show requesting me to help him and Nathan Ironside get $6000.00 in sponsorship they desperately needed it their show was scheduled for December 15 &16 with my show being a disaster there is no way that I have time to sponsor help them when I'm still paying off those who wrestled who I still need to pay. I don't believe in screwing anyone that is why I'm only going to focus on paying those I still owe. In case anyone is interested I have a 18ft X 18ft American Flag Ring Canvas which is brand new never been used still in the box I received it in I paid $425.00 for it but I'll take $325.00 for it. Anyone who is interested can e-mail me at stevensjr123@msn.com thank you
Respectfully, Don Stevens Jr.

By the way any of them who done what I explained tries to blow smoke up a**es of anyone they need to remember I record every phone conversation, keep all of the reciepts, & keep perfect record of everything I do. So no matter what they say or do the facts are still on my side.

Don Stevens I think what you are doing is pretty gutless due to the fact that you are not telling the whole story.
The facts are that you showed up at the venue the day of the show with 50 bucks and had no money to pay the workers. The workers did not know if they were going to see a dime from you at the time of the show. You had no clue what goes into running a wrestling show and should have worried more about getting money to pay your workers then getting expensive custom belts, guard rails, and custom ring aprons.
You ran an autograph signing were not one fan actually showed up to get an autograph. It was also an autograph signing were there was nothing for any people to autograph. The guys who were there were pissed because they came in early and were made all kinds of promises, that you did not come through on.
In your list of costs you say you had posters and flyers. I never saw one poster of flyer for your show anywhere in the Quad Cities. The only time I saw flyers was when you came to ScW the week before and handed out "special"flyers trying to get ScW fans to come to your show. You advertised on Mediacom channel 72, well good job wasting money because I will speak for most normal people when I saw we do not sit there all day watching sh*t scroll by on the TV to see adds.
As far as the bar and restaurant bills, The people who ran up the bills did not know if they were going to see a dime for working your show. So they ran up the bill to try to get some of the money there were promised. In my opinion what they did was just fine because you did not pay them what you agreed to pay them.
If you are going to run a show you need to have the money you promise before the show and not rely on your gate to pay all of your expenses. With the operating costs of your show. There was a very slim chance that the gate would have been big enough to cover the costs.
The bottom line is that the show was a disaster from start to finish. But trying to blame the workers is bull*%^t. I have worked with Keith Walker several times and have found him to be nothing but a class act. You should not be smearing his name or any other workers names in the mud. As far as the workers who showed up you did not book, that happens at every Indy show. If you didn't have money or spots o the show, you tell them sorry they can't work. You are the company owner and it was your responsibility to run the show. You had no clue how to run a wrestling company. The only person you came blame is yourself.

nolimitsregal or should I call you Chris. Learn your facts before going and running your damn stupid factless mouth. 1st and foremost I not only paid Crooked Keith Walker what I agreed to pay him but I gave him $50.00 more also paid for a $219.00 round trip airfare and a Hotel Room #308 for him for 2 nights. It is blatenly obvious that you don't get around the QC very much. here is where the posters were HY Vee 3 locations, Auto Rons, SGT Peppers, Hollywood Daves, Racers Edge, Reynolds Motor CO., Tobacco Outlet Brady, Co-Op Davenport & Moline, Grime Stoppers, Clark Oil Gas Station Locust & Washington St., Superstars & Superheroes, Gills Antiques, Klemmes Kar Korner, Mother Hubbard Cupboard Hickory Grove & 4th ST., Jeffs Kitchen, JSB Signs, UBC, Wal*Mart, Miller Time Bowling, Hibbetts Sporting Goods, 99 cent store, Leonards Transmission, Valley's Cruisers Engine Shop, Green Briar, St. Francis, & Audio Force. As for your justification of Keith Walker & the others who ran up those bills proves how much of a moron you are $380.76 extra that they cost me cost Team Lady Thrillers, The Synners, Nathan Ironside, Tank Roberts, and the other ScW wrestlers their pay on the day of the show. As for the autograph session Reynolds ad agency was suppose to have placed mentions in their Newspaper ad along with a scrolling script on their commercial it never happened and Reynolds as did we suffered from it. They were angry with their ad agency for it not me. Yes Mediacom Channel 72 was a mistake but it was my first try so I got the advertising I was able to afford. Can is spelled C A N not C A M E. I said that I made misstakes and admitted it. There is no justifation for anyone who claims to be professional to pull such a bold stunt. As for show #2 it will never happen. As for me I have no need to worry about my name due to the fact that the sport that I normally work in is not only not staged but Interviewing the workers there is always worth the work. Never doing another wrestling show won't hurt my feelings however instead will be less of a stress maker!!!!!!!!!! Don

If you all want a place to publicly air your differences, you've got it.
I'm asking both of you to keep the name calling and insults to private messages and emails.
If you two want to debate the issues at hand with facts to back up your arguments, feel free to do so.
Let's keep it civil, gentlemen.

Let this be a lesson to all who think running a show is a piece of cake. If you don't know how to swim - keep your a$$ out of the pool.

Nice plug tobihope! You have a very valid point. I agree that unless you talk to people who tried and failed due to 3 main reasons 1) Those others who you bring in as co-owners don't have 1 single dime to help back you up in case of such a situation as what occurred arises 2) You seriously underestimate the cost totals 3) You don't have a back up plan. I urge you to take my advice stay home watch wrestling on TV or you'll find yourself still 2 or 3 weeks after your failed event trying to dig yourself out of the financial hole you let yourself get into! Believe me when I say it's not worth it. Tim Reagle obviously likes to trash talk and get into crap talking matches but Tim nolimitsreagle here is what I have to say to you!! Have a nice day, drink a Bud or Bud Lite watch Raw, Smackdown, or TNA and have fun. Don't be so hostile it's not worth the stress.
Respectfully, Don

Don, not for nothing but when you thanked everyone up top, there was one person you neglected to really thank. Didn't Frankie DeFalco save you by restoring order with the wrestlers and getting you card together. It might have been an over site.
