I'm glad you took the time to explain the rational behind your comments.
That being said, calling someone a yarder certainly isn't considered a compliment so I'll stick with my opinion that the comment was intended as a "cheap shot". You said PBB has backyarded in the past, and that raises a good question.
When is one no longer considered a yarder? What path must one choose in order to be accepted as a pro? Once they've spent the $$$ to train with someone who is reputable? Is there a time frame before one has enough experience in the ring in front of an audience? How long must one "pay their dues" before they are elevated from yarder status to professional?
Please don't take this as me coming to the defense of PBB as I know nothing of his work. I'm personally not a fan of death matches either.
I'm curious as to what others think and I hope these questions might create some discussion on the subject.

Stumpy in a deathmatch certainly sounds like a surreal sight. He vs. New Jack would be interesting, to put it mildly.
I'm sure Ian won't like being in the same building as some of the guys in the tournament, such as the aformentioned Peter B. Beautiful and even Chuck Wagon, who I believe no-showed the KOTDM last year and Ian cut a brutal promo on him.
If I still lived in Illinois then I wouldn't mind attending the shows just because the only deathmatch I've ever seen live was at April Bloodshowers '04, and that was a *really* sick tag match.

I will be there with a friend or two. I really like that new jack and the iwa people will be there but some of these i have never heard of. I suggest that you put the line up on the iwa board and czwfans board.

Due to unforseen circumstances, Hardcore Holidays has been postponed! As soon as we have the new dates, they will be posted!
The one good thing about this is that the rescheduled dates will more than likely be a Friday and Saturday show!
We would like to apologize to the fans who were looking forward to this tournament. It WILL happen... And, as soon as we set the new dates you will know when!
Thank you!

Didn't Stumpy and Sinnister have a death match down in St Louis that got some props and was really good and bloody. I heard Stumpy got pretty messed up?

I've never seen a bad hardcore match involving Sinnister yet...& I've seen him ih a lot. Plus(& I know I'm gonna catch hell for this) Stumpy can work a good hardcore match. I dunno if he has video of it...but he WAS willing to work Abdullah!

Anyone is will willing to work with Abby. Stumpy is the shits. Sinnistar is the shits. I saw a show in Muskateen where he worked a 3 way with Trik Davis and Eric Priest. 2 of the 3 guys in the match were very competant, the third was horrible. Sinny went up on the second rope for something, and when he MISSED Trik by a mile, Priest lit him up and threw him out of the ring. Horrible!
